DJ Ivey

He played less snaps this game, Couch was the primary Boundary, Ivey wasn't really in for most of the game.

I also believe he might've gotten dinged up in the 3rd, I swear I remember him coming off the field limping at one point.

But they didn't really test our Corners on the outside until late in the 4th, they went at Blades early & he made them pay & then they left him alone. They attacked Couch in the 4th quarter.

But early on they didn't really throw at him at all, they were mostly working the slot with Tutu.

Did you like what you saw in Couch Last nigh? I like the way he plays.. he is sticky

No.

He got beat on nearly every route, he played good coverage on the Deep ball to Braden Smith it was just a really good throw & catch, but overall he didn't perform well in coverage. He made a nice open field tackle on 3rd down though.

He's still young & last night was the most snaps he's played in an entire game, he still has a lot to learn, the tools are there he has good speed & hips, but needs to diagnose & read quicker, needs to be more consistent physically.

I think he'll get better with more reps, but needs to be more alert in coverage, in the 4th quarter their QB just threw at him on nearly every play.

Ivey was in 33 plays and Couch had over 50 and I also saw Ivey limped Off and I didn’t see him again.

I saw Ivey. He held himself when I saw 8.

Obviously saw couch getting a lot of burn. But I was dialed on Ivey and the DL pre-snap

I hope you're right about him getting better.

Or maybe Williams was never any good.. if I remember correctly, bama and LSU we’re recruiting him as a safety. If bama and LSU don’t think you can play corner, then you can’t.
You remember incorrectly

Lousiville was the most snaps he's played thus far since he's been here as a True Sophomore, it was basically his first full game...

There's literally nowhere to go but up.

Clarke was in on Specials. Made a nice tackle on kick coverage.
