DJ Dallas article

I was joking, as I know some guys are slim, but after two days in a row of a player saying "yeah, so I had a 17% body fat last year..."

That's freakin odd on a high level D1 program. Wtf was going on?

Idk what the **** Felder + our nutrition team was doing last year. Feels like they were trying to get everyone to look like Felder lol.

Forgetting the receiving TD he had against VT where he also showed his versatility on a wheel route and GT where he rushed 6-48 and a TD?

You're still avoiding the question. I'm sure you won't answer (again), but I'll try a 3rd time including the GT game....

Here's these teams national rank in Run Defense YPC Allowed last year:

GT (89th) - Cam - 6 - 48 - 8.0 ypc - 1TD
Duke (106th) - DJ - 12 - 124 - 10.3 ypc - 1TD
UNC (110th) - DJ - 11 - 114 - 10.4 ypc - 1TD
VT (122nd) - Cam - 7 - 77 - 11.0 ypc - 1TD and a 16 yd TD catch

Why do Deejay's games against bad defenses not count, but Cam's games against bad defenses show he's special?

The eye test and what I saw in spring. He has the stature and attributes you want in a running back.

What exactly does DeeJay have? As a freshman he was elusive and slippery and had speed to get to the outside which showed in TD’s against ND and Wisky. I showed up to Hard Rock last April in the spring and he looked like he had a tire around his waist. That was the worst personnel decision I’ve ever seen made on a player. He isn’t a pure running back. They bulked him up to the tune of 17% body fat, that’s criminal. It’s science no one gains that much weight and carries that much fat and maintains their speed or agility. I don’t know what’s so hard for people to understand that.

If it's just your eye test - that's fine. Just say you think Cam looks looks better. No need to bring stats that contradict yourself into it.

Deejay wasn't some rocked up speedster his Freshman year then a fat slob last year. He was basically the same dude.

Deejay went from 5.3 ypc as a Freshman to 5.4 ypc vs P5 and 5.7 ypc overall. He was averaging a half yard more than Homer through 11 games last year.

The same guy you remember going off for 5.3 ypc vs ND or 6.9 ypc vs Wisconsin in 2017 is the same dude you don't remember going for 0 ypc vs UNC & 1.3 ypc vs Pitt & 3.0 ypc vs UVA in 2017.

The same dude that you remember going for 2.0 ypc vs Wisconsin & 2.5 ypc vs GT in 2018 is the same dude you won't acknowledge going for 10+ vs Duke & UNC in 2018.

If Deejay was timed at a 4.44 40 and averaged 5.7 ypc when he as a fat *** last year...how fast and what do you think his ypc would've been if he were in shape last year?

You really think he ran a 4.44. Clearly don’t know how that works. And I’m not contradicting myself. The numbers are clearly better.

I think Deejay is most likely a mid 4.5 guy. I'm just referencing what he was timed at a 4.45 last year when he was a fat 220. Still one of the fastest on the team.

IMO - if he was running something around a 4.58 last year at 220, he might be around a 4.56 at 213. Better, but not the huge difference that you seem to think.

And if you're referencing stats against bad VT & GT defenses to show Cam is special, but saying Deejay's stats against bad UNC & Duke defenses mean nothing - then yes, you're contradicting yourself.
