DJ Dallas added weight

Is the weight making him fumble?

He’s running fine. His YPC has gone up since last year. It’s the fumbles that are killing us.
The fumbles are absolutely deadly. All mental. Once it gets into your head, hard to get out. Also deadly to winning games.

Do we win last night without the DJ and JT fumbles? How about last week?

If I were the coach I'd get scared to put him back on the field. Notice how Homer protects the ball?

Out of all the things to complain about, you are complaining about DJ’s weight?

We really are the dumbest fanbase

Let’s focus our energy on Richt please
Let's focus on fumbles. Gift wrapping games to mediocre teams

Yeah, the fumbles he has had have been very costly. He’s had a lot more positive plays than negative

It’s bush league to start ripping on a kid calling him fat and he sucks

Rip on Donaldson for being fat and consistently not playing good, or jahair Jones, but DJ has had a couple bad breaks, that’s it

I think Dallas is a great athlete and overall I don’t think his performance is due to weight but he may be less explosive. That’s S&C. Dallas’ issue is that he’s trying to be a hero to compensate for a crap scheme. These guys are trying to put the team on their back.
Dallas always had a loose ball handle technique. Even when he wasn’t fumbling. Like I mentioned duke went through a stretch here. guys in the league went through it like AP and shady. Not saying he’s those guys by any means but that’s what it boils down to for me. A kid trying to make a play like always, just the last 2 weeks he’s got caught. As far as his explosiveness, to me he hasn’t loss any of it because he never had elite explosiveness to begin with. The kid is just a football player

DeeJay has only had TWO bad games? LOL

6 games under 3.9 YPC (3.9, 3.3, 3.1)

3 games under 2.5 YPC (2.5, 2.4, 2.5)
You seen how sorry our oline is right?? But yea I’d take those numbers without fumbles..that y ppl are saying “two bad games”

Chicken probably won't do it but rice can. Some people are just sensitive to carbs. I cut out carbs and lost almost 100 lbs. Ate a lot of chicken on the way down.

You gain weight by eating more calories than you burn. If you eat 3000 cals of chicken a day and only burn 2000 cals you will gain weight.

You missed the point.

He was not very good all season, but everyone forgot to mention it until now. After, but completely unrelated to, the fumbling.

And Richt can't evaluate talent, Lingard might not be any good either. Also, Gus made Deejay fat. And he's a *****. Also he should be playing some other position but don't ask which one. Plus, he put a slow leak in my front passenger side tire and hid my keys this morning.

I think that should bring you up to date with what's wrong with Deejay.

Dayum...is that why my left headlight is out and I have to replace it? It went bad fourteen months after I bought the bulb as a replacement at Advance Auto and the warranty is 12 months? Do you think DeeJay is involved?

Seriously. The fumbles have been killers. How you fix that I don't know. It's a big mental issue and obviously smart coaching must address it.

Yes, DeeJay has made some great plays. But the fumbles have hurt us. He has to overcome this or it could totally negate his positives.

Is this your first day here? Of course he's involved. The only question is who's his accomplice? There's no way he could mess with your headlight with those fat fingers of his. My money's on Jon Richt.

Lingard was second rated HS back in country. Do you think there were any college programs who evaluated him properly, realizing he was overrated, and didn't offer?

Who were these genius programs? Who shied away from Lingard?

Yeah. I am ****ed. Why couldn't he just do his dirty work back in August, eleven months after I bought the bulb, so it would be covered under warranty...after all, I paid $18-$19 for it.

Don't agree. Science of metabolism is complex and can't begin to explain what I learned and experienced. Low carb diet can be very successful and I paid attention primarily to carb levels in food. Try to force body to seek energy from your own fat stores not through food. In early months I tested whether I was in ketosis. I was. I ignored calorie levels in food as long as I kept carbs way down. Hormones, particularly insulin, have a lot to do with it.

Probably Felder's doing. Between bites of cake, but Gus was telling him to make sure he let the warranty run out before messing with it. It's nice that these kids have a mentor to show them the ropes. And help them get too fat to hold on to the ball.

Feel free to disagree, but you would be wrong. If you eat less calories than you burn you will lose weight. Every single scientific study supports that. You can cut carbs to reach that deficit, but if you eat 5000 calories of protein and fat and 0 calories of carbs and you only burn 3000 cals a day you will gain fat. This not an opinion based topic it is a fact. There are some studys that support lowering carb intake to get into ketosis to burn even more calories, but even so you still need to be in a caloric deficit for it to work.
