You ever have a coach in year 5 too scared to set a tangible goal because he realizes he's a lumpy *******?

I get what he's saying ... And I actually agree with him.

He just hasn't EVER established EXCELLENCE, so there is no connection or legitimacy to their ability to create it.

But guys like Chip Kelly ("Win the day") and Bill Belichick ("do your job") can get away with those sayings/phrases, because they have a track-record of success.

Golden's track-record is mediocrity. ****, even the goal of making a division run is mediocre, IMO ...

Come on, what goal he possible set and expect to achieve it? One more win? I would not put $$ on that one. Does he realize that noles did all the things criminoles always did to lose to us? They have like the world greatest kicker and he hit the upright, the right upright, to miss crucial field goal. Then the failed to convert on 2 point conversion. For those not old enough to remember Jim Burt blocking one in 1980 to knock noles out of undefeated ranks and another dang gumit in 1987. Yet ole Al still could not get the win. Letting them come back last year was bad, but this year the noles did everything possible to give Al a classic dreamcrushing Miami win. Come on, stop that lastTD drive and make the punk kicker tried another kick with the entire nole nation thinking OH GOD! NOT ANOTHER FRIGGING WIDE RIGHT! Al would have saved his *** and noles would have been back at the clearance rank. Golden is less than useless at this point.

By Miami standards Chip Kelly can't get away with that crap. He has not won a thing by our standards.
