Seen all of em play. Jobe is with the elites from down here.

Samuel is a split image of his dad, good feet, quick acceleration, Aggression despite size.
Wilson = Antrel Rolle. A beat you up corner, that lets you know about it when hes doing it...very physical.
Blades lengthy kid..good speed..long arms, Aggressive as well.

If or when they lose Jobe....Wilson or Samuel aint plan b types..they are really really good players at stack positions.

My opinion the only reason Wilson hasnt or wasnt recruited was because of the switch from Miami Pace...who hasnt produced div 1 guys like they use to but are now back at it. To MNW and his commitment to UF EARLY. Because atheletically hes even more athletic than Jobe and right there with Tyson Campbell. UGA has a MNW kid starting at cb right now that we didnt even sniff...that would be our starting cb the last 2 years. Dont do it again.....go get this kid.

On the 247 predictions only two have given their thoughts where he might go. One for Florida and one Cloudy. A. Ivins has the cloudy prediction. Kid with his talents this late in game with only two "gurus" giving opinions? Would be interesting to see what would happen if anything if we did offer.

The only thing I could see personally why possibly no offer from MR watching this year's game highlights is that he is not the most physical tackler. He is an excellent kick returner and tracks down some pretty fast backs and WRs showing good long speed.

I would go after Wilson but he seem like the type of kid that will play the recruiting game and it's to late in the recruiting prosses to be playing games with a kid like wilson.

Going after Surtain isn't contingent on whether Jobe goes and we should've gone after Samuel regardless.

He probably is going to the highest bidder and we don’t want to get caught up in it.

He was committed to UF. He was always a big 3 talent.

Also what does Uncle Luke have to do with it??
 
With that said, if we lose any of our current commits and/or miss out on Campbell...we will look back at not heavily recruiting Wilson as a big time miss.
 
This kid will end up playing Safety at some point, he's to stiff to be a corner in my opinion, I don't think he has the hips to play corner. Nevertheless the kid is very talented. We can't get them all.
 
All I will say is, so many studs this year in SoFla at CB there will be a few good ones that will get overlooked and Wilson could be one!! Wilson is a stud and was big for the 6A FL state champs!!

Last position I'm worried about is corner this year and even into the next. Sure, we'll be young there, but the two year crop is possibly the best ever on paper in S. FL.

Wilson can play and he's interchangeable with a number of the guys we have verbals from or are currently recruiting. We're in a good position so no worries what he or others do.
 
I remember when Pete reported at a camp or event in Dade (Frierson was there, '19 Fuller was there too, Johnny Ford was there too)...Last maybe Feb/and March.

He said UM was recruiting Divaad Wilson, they were watching him strongly. So they obv knew about him last year, they just like others better.
 
I think I will trust Richt , a masterful recruiter , with who and who not should be offered. I always get a chuckle out of threads like this.
