Dislike/hate me if you wish...

You kill the kid's interest in the U. I took my stepson during the Golden years. Now I ask him to come along and he tells me no. Why watch them loose and see you super mad? He says. Kills me....

I keep my youngins away from Cane football right now. Only games they are allowed to watch are the Toledo's and Savvy State's of the world.

I won't let them grow up thinking this is the :neonu:

You couldn't pay me enough to sit through ANY Miami game these days. It was bad enough back when I was a student, and I am too old now to get blind drunk (like I did back then) in order to sit through today's mess (with a bag over my head).

I took mine to several games last year....but yeah I've come to the same conclusion.

But I just can’t take another season like this with Mark Richt at the helm leading a lifeless team on the field week in and week out. I have called in to cancel my season tix for next season. Hurts to do it, but ****, it sucks to give $$ to a ****** product. Even worse is that yesterday I wasn’t even excited for the game and gave my tix to my nephew and his daughters..and yep, they left disgusted.

Hoping for some major changes this summer but not expecting it. Until then, yes I will follow because of th kids, but Richt has killed my excitement 😡😡.

Hopefully the tix office doesn’t try to keep some of the $ I already paid for 2019.

Believe it or not, it's a step in the right direction. Continuing to give money and stand for the status quo is actually more damaging. This puts the feet to the proverbial fire for the administration.

You came up with a great idea.
Bags over the fans heads.
U of Miami Hurrican'ts, or whatever
Lot cheaper than a banner..

My 5 yr old doesn't know any better right now. Pre-poisoned. I take her to bball games to keep the Orange and Green flowing in her veins.

I’m an OOS fan that’s attended 1 game since Randy was hired.

You really think I’m going to book flights/hotels/tickets so money goes to a school that constantly gives the middle finger to the fan base?

No ******* way. You show me some real commitment and I will show it back. This half assed appeasement bull**** doesn’t sit with me.
You mean people don't see your Miami diploma and exclaim, "Ooooh, you graduated from the 'Stanford of the East!'", then hire you on the spot? Surely that benefit outweighs the crappy, choirboy football team you're forced to watch.

I have not watched the last two games and it feels good. First time in 20 years that I ever do this. Whats the purpose of watching this debacle, if the only thing it offers you is stress and it puts you in the worst mood ever.

Man so true. I left yesterdays game in the worst f.cuking mood.

I thought why do this to myself?

Good for you man.

Superfans will tell you only fans that go to games can criticize this program.

To be fair they aren't giving the finger to the fans that don't care about winning. So there's that.

When I tell people outside the state of Florida that I went to Miami for undergrad, seriously the most common reaction is: "oh, you guys are the Gators, right?"

Many, many people have not even HEARD of the university of miami.

And when I tell them it's the Miami Hurricanes, many old folks will start talking about Jimmy Johnson, while the young ones are just like "whatever." I might as well have said I went to Utah State. Zero ***** are given.

The entire UM brand is dying.

Hey, but at least we're not offending anyone by dancing in the end zone anymore, right? Because that's what's truly important. /sarc

Good policy, my 3 boys are in their late 20s and 30s - all good HS ball players, one played college. They know the game, but I find myself apologizing to them all the time for making them Dolphin fans by association because we'd all load up in the man cave before they could even walk and watch the fins underperform. The sickness had already taken hold before they could choose on their own.

I don't want to have to do anymore apologizing for the Canes - one already left, he's a FF/PM and went to Santa Fe for Paramedic school when Tebow was in G-ville so he's Gator fan.

The other two and I suffered through three loses the last three games we all attended together. The last game in OB; K-State game when their Q ran all over us (My college teammate's son went to K-State, and we sat in their section, brutal) and of course, last year's turkey shoot at the ACC Title Game.

Was gonna go the the Vag game this year. Thank Butch Davis the temps were forecasted in the 40's and my broad decided she'd rather stay warm.

Fk me if I'd gone to that game.

Seriously considering just eating the cost of my flight & tickets...

BOYCOTTING a faulty product is the grand American way. One boycotts with his pocket book and all that. hUh.
