Disaster to end the cycle

And yes I am so petty as to list the specific posters, but I have not gone through all 9 pages so feel free to list others. My issue, again, was the timing of this topic and the fact that some people had no perspective and no foresight whatsoever. Just pure ignorance at the highest level.

It's easy to call it pure ignorance now. We should have gone to the playoffs that year too. We blew it. Just had to beat Syracuse. Props to Mario and the team for last year. Props for fixing the defense. Until this past season, Mario hadn't given many reasons for optimism as a game day coach.

Apparently I've been moonlighting as the as one of the board's resident doom-poster, according to our eagle-eyed mod. News to me but Gables Canes, one letter off from my username, is guilty of this internet crime, not me.

To be fair, I get it…we're basically the same handle (I created my handle first for the record), and I know you are not the first person to get us mixed up. Common mistake. That said, reading comprehension a hiring requirement for mod, or more "vibes-based"? There's a whole extra letter sitting right there. 😎

Formal request to be un-canceled for crimes committed by my evil twin with the extra S.

Gables Canes can keep the rap sheet. I'd like mine back clean, please.

Acting like we didn’t go 10-2 without making the ACC championship game both seasons is certainly a choice. Acting like you didn’t call Mario a worse hire than Randy Shannon, Al Golden, Richt and Manny Diaz is certainly a choice.

What are you talking about? I said it and never denied it. Was i wrong? Yes, yes I was. I still don't think he's a very good game day coach. I give him all the credit in the world for taking us to the title game. Incredible run we had. Props to Mario. I think he's done a great job getting NFL talent in here, which makes his job on game day easier. He made a home run hire with Heatherman. He's got this thing going in the right direction. Happy for him, the players, and fans.

Bro, no offense, but a mentality that causes someone to post the highlighted above has to come from ignorance, because if not, then it’s just malevolent trolling.

Trying to say that Mario, at that point in time, was a worse hire than Manny, or Folden, or even Randy, is epic level ignorance.

Now I know you’re going to try to justify your statement using some kind of convoluted logic, but if I were you, I would just take the L and not even attempt it.
