we have guys with speed. but that doesn't matter when they're not targeted or put in position to succeed. i didn't even think dorsett was used correctly and he's an elite athlete.
We are Penn State. Wait, we are Temple. Wait...

No we don't. We don't have a single gamebreaker at WR besides Coley and he has vanished into thin air.

berrios was one of the fastest wr's his year. waters is a 4.4 guy. if you watch malcolm lewis vs south carolina, he looked plenty fast when he out ran their team on a very athletic play. the route trees we run don't get guys open. doesn't matter who we have at the receiver position. even fiu get's guys open sometimes. our fans think we don't have talent bc they don't follow enough other teams. it's not like all of the top programs have multiple guys running 4.3's. that's a delusion. same for db's. watch the actual combines year in and year out. you find guys that played faster than they were in college and vica versa. it's about x's and o's at the end of the day and we all know our coaches may know football but sure as **** don't know how to apply it.

since these guys have been here...ive said our route concepts are terrible.
Aint nothing changed...
We rarely scheme guys to create open space for our wrs....
i mean im surprise you guys are just figuring this out...considering we spent a year throwing bubble screens to Stacy Coley.....and were now throwing post corners to Standish Dobard, and Fade routes to Braxton Berrios....
James Coley is learning on the job....
But even then he is better than No Frio.....but dude is running that hog posh system that Jimbo Fisher ran that i dont believe is all that great either and is predicated on just beingbetter than guys and beating guys straight up...FSU doesnt have great route concepts either...**** Jameis threw that post route every two to three plays.
