Any word on how this kid is progressing? I know they said they are hoping to play him this season but haven't seen much out of him since early in the season. Any chance he could help in the return game at some point this season.

Not sure where he stands for playing time but I did read that he didnt travel this weekend due to a ham string injury.

I wish we could use him on kick returns but we don't need him , we have Malcom the "rocket"Lewis

I know it's difficult to fathom taking a guy like Malcolm off returns with his speed but Mullins was just a thought.

Makes TOO much sense....not gonna happen
 
8 games in with no shot of anything meaningful, we might as well redshirt him and get him ready to ball next year
 
Imagine the ****-storm if Richt burns his shirt and the kid gets hurt. Nothing he does will make much difference, let the kid keep the shirt.

He already played in one of the blow outs early in the season if I recall. Maybe he's the piece of the offense Richt is waiting for before he opens up the playbook.

Couple things here
1) KOs aren't what they used to be, you rarely get a chance anymore and the touchback taking you to the 25 even further diminishes it value
2) I've seen this posted a couple of times, but why do people keep thinking Mullins is a burner. Kid is a talent for sure but I didn't see a burner whatsoever.

He's a nice player but not a burner and not a game changer IMO. I think he can be good but he was a bit overhyped coming out of HS.
 
Was hoping to see him and homer back there. Ok with Berrios on punts for sure handedness but need some speed on kick returns. I do think I've seen Homer on kr couple times but never touched it.

Its been awhile since we have had a guy that could take it to the house on a Kick Return or Punt return. We just have skill position guys doing double duty. How have we not recruited a kid who has a chance to house one every time it is kicked?
