Guys like Stoops and Babers have already seen the relative ceilings at their schools. You can't turn them into perennial Top 10 or 15 teams. Some coaches see a few 9 or 10 wins at schools like that and look for openings where there more consistent, or fertile, recruiting grounds, others try and stick it out and build more. Both are good coaches, IMO, but are trying to do the latter which is a mistake. Ask Greg Schiano, he tried to show the world he was right about Rutgers, and Rutgers showed him it's still Rutgers.
