Dino Barbers and Mark Stoops

My guy is the dude from Iowa state. Like someone said I think babers missed his Opportunity here.

Exactly , he was a tad above average , not sure I get the “ dub get made him “ nonsense.

Syracuseat its ceiling is what Babers is doing, they’ll jump up and when 9/10 games for a 2/3 years . Drop down a notch then repeat.

I’m not sure what some of you’re expecting from Syracuse. Babers is a really good coach.
 
Guys like Stoops and Babers have already seen the relative ceilings at their schools. You can't turn them into perennial Top 10 or 15 teams. Some coaches see a few 9 or 10 wins at schools like that and look for openings where there more consistent, or fertile, recruiting grounds, others try and stick it out and build more. Both are good coaches, IMO, but are trying to do the latter which is a mistake. Ask Greg Schiano, he tried to show the world he was right about Rutgers, and Rutgers showed him it's still Rutgers.

UK with their resources (if they really committed to football and the bag game) can become what ole miss was under freeze in terms of recruiting. resources and money are there. i think stoops is comfy tho. he doesnt need to win 10-12 a year to keep his job. he just needs to be average and theyre fine w him
