You've all heard it, a football team at every level calling themselves "family".

This isn't to knock that- because in a lot of ways they are, so much time spent together forges a bond that is much like a blood relation.
For Syracuse Football, they mean it literally.

You see before last season, Orange Head Coach Dino Babers' eldest daughter Jazzmin married Koda Martin. The couple met at Texas A&M where Jazzmin played volleyball and Koda played football for the Aggies.
Fast forward a year, Koda had an extra year of eligibility and made a "family" decision to play football at Syracuse. Allowing Jazzmin to be closer to father and ironically, Koda to be closer to his.
Last winter, Koda's father Kirk was hired by Babers to be the Orange's quarterback coach. Making for a true family atmosphere.

To summarize, Koda Martin plays for Syracuse where his father is quarterbacks coach and his father-in-law is the head coach.
