**** that looks good! Fu<k I want this guy as our coach. You can only dream what those numbers could be with the speed and athleticism he would get with skill players down here.
 
You guys are delusional. There's a better chance Dent signs with the Canes than Richt getting axed. Terrible season, changes need to be made. But the dude isn't getting fired. Cut it out
 
I like Babers.
I think he would be a good choice.
What he brings to the table is exactly what we need at this moment.
Obviously it won’t happen but one can dream.

That is the upward trend that we need. His offense is getting better as he is bringing his players.
Instead we are going in the opposite direction.
Richt offense is getting worse as he is bringing his players.

I'm preparing for 2020. Babers name needs to ring off in discussions when Canes' fans discuss their next HC.
 
We set our sights way too high on corches. We won't be able to out bid the big schools for corches like Babers.

We have to find young up and comers. Look for guys that are having great success at non-P5 schools. That's our only chance.
 
I like Babers also, thought He should've been a legit candidate during the last coaching search, BUT, when you look behind the numbers, that "Baylor offense" is brutal on the QBs. And it doesn't really take much schematically to stop it.

If Babers takes any job in the future though, it'll probably be the USC job when they eventually fire Helton.
 
I was a big Babers guy when Syracuse hired him. And he’s proved me right.

He is a master motivator and runs the type of Briles offense that would absolutely murder here. He’s pulled off a few huge upsets at SU and almost beat Clemson at their house this year.

This is the type of progressive hire we should make. Exactly the sort of offense we need.

Not only would we win more but we’d be fun to watch again. We are a total bore as a program and have been for 20 years plus. Last time we innovated here was under Pink Erickson.

Apparently they're going to go with Jack Del Rio. Which would be amazing for everyone else, because he's totally useless.

I like Babers a lot. I think time will tell that we got lucky with the timing of Jimbo's departure at FSU. We all know FSU was hellbent on hiring a black coach. I think if that job is open this off-season, rather than last, Babers would've been the target and not Willie. We'll never know, but that's my theory. And Babers can actually coach.
 
Why would Babers move from Syracuse to Miami? He can win 8-9 games a year there and be given the keys to the city. Doesn't strike me as the type that would want the pressures of this gig.
