Dino Babers right now, damnitt! Now!!

I lived in Syracuse for a good number of years. SU stopped being a football school during the 1960s. Yes, some bright spots since then, but the real sport at SU is basketball, and even that has not been so stellar lately. If Baber can beat a ranked WVA team in a bowl and beat Clemson last year, all this with a dismal recruiting base in upstate NY where lacrosse is a bigger sport than football, then he is legit. He could be the right man for the job. SU will never be a top football school. UM gives Baber a chance at real success. He should be able to recruit, pull the decent NYC and NJ talent to Miami while also convincing Florida players to stay home.

Also, UM in all its cheapness will probably pay more than SU will. Boeheim sucks in all the money at SU.
 
Why do all you babers fans feel like he can recruit with the likes of bama, Clemson,uga, Florida and FSU. His classes at Syracuse are only slightly better that what they were getting before him.

Hes good enough of a coach that he will win with whatever talent he has until the big time recruits take notice.

He'd be recruiting for miami instead of Syracuse. He got victories over Clemson and fsu.

Can you name 1 team that has been built that way for longevity. I don't think recruits will just come too many options now. Believe you need a coach that will kill recruiting and stack talent every year.

Dino Babers checks all the boxes. Dude should already be out recruiting for us. Why isn’t the deal done yet?

Please, Miami don’t ***** this up. CALL THIS MAN and titles at Miami will be easy money.

My problem with Babers is he’s a poor man’s Mike Leach. Why not hire the genius who CREATED the offense, who taught Babers, Kingsbury, etc everything they know?

Didn’t Syracuse have two of the top ten receivers last year (in terms of catches / yards)? That’s a brand of offensive football I would love to see with Miami athletes.

Babers is the answer. It’s a no brainer.
