Dillingham hired by Auburn

So he needs daddy's permission to go outside.....again why would you want someone that is not responsible for calling plays. Give me someone that has the experience and is currently calling plays.
Sure but who's left? Literally the top candidates are being poached and this was someone who UM would probably hire. By the way, I'll take his 3 plays every single time over Grandpa Rorcht

guys WE AIN"T HIRING AN OC......

Mork thinks his sht will work and all it will take is a good QB....Well iF Perry's stint as a starter is any indication either it won't, we still need a good QB or both cause what I witnessed the last few games when N'kosi was the starter the offense still wreaked.

But as I've said Mork is here to stroke his own ego and prove to UGA they were wrong and he will go down with the ship dragging this program with him to prove it.

So starting a new thread everytime an OC is hired elsewhere is only going to drive you nuts in that he wasn't hired here.

MORK PRICHT WILL BE CALLING PLAYS NEXT YEAR.BOOK IT !!!!!

At this point I don't want Richt to make any changes, keep everything exactly the same.

I don't want anymore excuses or scapegoats, leave it all alone & just keep doing it his way, if it fails again (and it will) force him to step down.

If 2019 has to be sacrificed due to Richt's stubbornness then so be it. But what also needs to happen is Lake James has to be let go in 2019 as well, the BOT needs to clean house & get these pacifists out of the program for good.

Repeat this please

Dodged a bullet here, the youngin didn't even call plays. I want someone with experience if Richt actually decides to get someone. I do find it weird that Briles hasn't been scooped up yet

And when we don’t blame kids for not wanting to play for us, we get hit with how we not good fans. I don’t know this or any other oc, but what I do know our offense is ****** and the QBs are crappy and our coach hand picked them and the offense. Only thing we can hope for is a rabbit like Jess Simpson!

Yep. He would've been a yes man to Richt. Galloway and McElroy were on CFB live today basically saying he'll be the yes man to Malzahn there anyway. Nothing will change there and nothing would have changed here. Hire an established OC or gtfo

It's cool. We have the Coach Richt and JR (excuse the pun) on the job. Meeting to discuss matters scheduled in a few weeks.

I agree 100%. :fistbump:

This is exactly my line of thinking now.

Not easy to get to, but reality.

Man, I don't mean no disrespect but some of yall acting like our Dline wasn't balling to Simpson arrived! Same **** line from last year, and we already knew Willis was the best overall athlete on the entire team, so it's no surprise that he's balling out! C'mon now...

Agree with you but he could have been a lot worse.

Yeah, regardless of talent, we didn't miss a beat. We all saw how a certain DC/DL coach can ruin talented kids (Grohlden) and those same kids absolutely balled under a different scheme/coaching. Obviously Diaz could have a lot to do with that but I would argue we actually played better than under Kool. With the small sample size, it seems Jess is da goods.

You guys aren’t listening!! Richt never planned on bringing in an OC because he’s here to call plays. You brought the disappointment on yourselves. The working retired coach has no plans for an OC

This is why i never got guys on here looking up oc's etc. Dude is here to call plays...hes here to develop his sons career. He would essentially be firing himself...he rather make the cash and have the admin do it. We will stay pat and maybe improve on o...like 10 spots or something..and he'll trot out the improvement/progress

Golden had at least a decent offense during his tenure. Manny inherited a defense that was adapted to a 3-4 and he ran the exact opposite scheme. So the staff had to work on S&C and in his first year, Diaz had the defense in the top 25. Two years later, it was the #2 ranked total defense in the nation. Golden's scheme worked against Cinicinnatti and UNC because we out talented them by a good margin. Once he faced a team with equal or better talent (FSU at the time), his defense shows its glaring holes. That was his m.o. in Temple, and it was the same thing here.
You need to rrewatch those two games we were an aggressive attacking defense for them then we reverted back to ds no defense.golden and cmr ran two different offensive philosophies.goldens was more spread suited for the line which at times could be successful but not dependable against equal to or better teams.cmr tried to run the old sec power run with an oline lacking the ability to execute it.last year proved that with all the close games we had which should've been blowouts for all the turnovers the defense had.

Problem we have is golden left this program in bad shape when cmr was hired.cmrs excuse is too many inexperienced players on the offensive side.he's bsing the university he needs time to build a good offensive team.some of you might remember the year golden changed his defensive philosophy and beat Cincinnati and unc badly but reverted back at fsu.same thing has happened here with cmr bowl game will let us know if cmr is going to stay with the spread or revert back to his power ideology.if he does go back start of 2020 we will have a new coach.
Down vote all you want but if the offense doesn't show any improvements in 19.changes to the staff especially the offensive side will be made.I don't see cmr firing his son like any good parent he'd step down first.
