I think we should institute a breeding program between parents of our choosing and offer the offspring scholarships once the mother progresses through the first trimester.

We are also handing out the Koran next year as a means of getting our team to behave more aggressively towards recruits who do not sign with us, or as we will call them, "infidels."

WVU isn't winning any titles. And they just pulled Harley out of south Fla straight under our noses. Winning more will help, but it's hardly a cure all. There appears to be a hole in the staff when it comes to having that guy who can pull kids in. Dugans and Hartley were suppossed to fit the bill, but their schtick clearly ain't working.

I swear some of you cats can't have a conversation without disrespecting someone. It is possible to disagree without calling for someone's post to be deleted. We lost a kid to WV, there's a lot of things we can't see behind closed doors.

We always use the bag man, and stuff going on behind closed doors when we don't get a recruit. . Face it, until we start winning, we are not going to get the recruits we used to. We are not a desired program to go to anymore. Not sure how and if this will ever change.

Even if we do win, we'll still lose recruits. The days of hidden So Fla recruits is over with social media, the internet and ENDLESS camps. Kids want different things.....money, facilities, PT, college town atmosphere, big class, small classes, easy classes, certain majors, location, sun, beaches, girls, get out of jail free cards, certain brand uniforms, scholies/jobs for family members or friends......the list goes on and on. You can't get them all in the day of the "business" mindset and money grab, especially as a small private university who's been popped multiple times for violations.

I would never disagree with the bolded part, but that's not really the problem here. The problem is not having other appropriate recruits in place to fill in. We can't keep being the bridesmaid, and left with a roster that is shorthanded talent at several positions. We are trying to recover from playing well under our scholarship limits. Losing out again and again on these types of recruits is going to cost us wins, which will only make recruiting even harder.

Absolutely agree. I like how Richt doesn't want to offer everyone and their brother bc he wants a UM offer to be meaningful again, but you can't do that and get stuck holding your junk. You need to have Plan B scenarios ready and spend enough time talking to a wider range of recruits in order to tap those resources when needed. It seems they swung for the fences this round hoping for a Grand Slam and struck out hard.....now instead of scoring 3-4 at CB/WR, we may only score 2 (Deejay and Bandy).

Nobody is crying. Whether he was committed to them or not, we wanted him and they got him. We are struggling at recruiting WRs this cycle. It is what is is. And that's hardly a success.

You're in here yapping about us not winning. Harley just went to WVU. What have they won. Until a few months ago, Hologram was on a scorching hot seat. He's 46-30 at WVU, and your dopey *** is in here talking about us not winning.

WVU is ranked 12th thru 16th in the Coaches, AP and Playoff rankings in case u haven't looked lately.

And for that matter, since 2005, WVU has finished ranked 6 times, we have finished in the top 25 once in that same time frame.

Not to mention the best RB in the country is about to sign with fsu...AGAIN. It is really hard finding myself spending hard earned $$ for a mediocre product. I will wait to see how Richt and Co. close but if it doesn't get a lot better than it is now, I'll be stub hubbing and saving about 2.5k per year.

I know a lot of fans want to run off most of our coaches because the U isn't landing the elite recruits they want the staff to, but I don't think it's all on the staff.

I think the days are gone of finding talented kids who want to work their asses off and not worry about all the cosmetic sh@t kids worry about these days. Most kids now are soft-shouldered and get trophies for everything. Being sheltered from failure has really affected the culture of our youth. Not to mention he U hasn't done sh@t worth talking about in over a decade doesn't help either.

I think the staff is doing the best they can, but until they put together a great season that says you can compete for titles here, most of these kids won't come. They only know the Miami who has lost too many games to FSU and melt down afterwards. Change that and kids' minds will too.

So players like Jeudy are runner no to Bama to work less? Idiotic. This isn't the only school working hard. Listen till we win, these kids will go elsewhere which is why Richt not winning 10 this year, when he clearly could have, hurts a lot. These kids haven't seen us win even a bowl game in a DECADE.... Sucks but it's the truth
