Besides the primary difference (scholarship), what are the other things that a scholarship player can do that a walk-on cannot?

The main difference is meals provided by the team. About 2 or 3 meals are served at the Hecht for scholarship players per week...if a walk-on wants to eat one of these meals they have to pay like 8 or 9 bucks. Other than that, there isn't much. Both get the same access to the training room and everyone on the travel squad travels the same way (maybe a walk-on doesn't get first class...not sure how Golden splits up first class...I think seniors). And obviously, they don't get a check for $300/1200 every month.

That really is the only major difference.
