Losing Patrick Peterson commitment that year really set us back. Because not only with him coming in with jacory, Sean spence and Brandon Harris surely would have made us better win wise but to me losing him really started the whole lsu DB dynasty reign. So with that being said I think we need to get back to highlighting our DBS more. I really think Artie burns should be the kick returner at least if not punt as well. Plus watching miami play when howard and Crawford come in they play with swag. I really wish our defense ran more nickel as a base like say bama and Fsu does cause we not a big team we just fast and we need to use that. Basically what I'm saying is let's get back to what made us the best cause when we people think of the U guarantee first couple names they talk gonna include Taylor and reed. IF we let Artie play his bump and run ball next year he can be Patrick Peterson all over again and we won't have to go to Kansas to get defensive backs.

lose his commitment?

Word is Shannon wouldn't take his commitment on signing day because he didn't honor his word initially. Know that sounds dumb, but if you've met Randy.....
 
When that Patrick Johnson went LSU, he never turned back.

It was Arthur Brown lil brother Bryce Brown who Randy wouldn't touch since "he didn't honor his word initially". Bryce said as much after he made his decision to TN that an option was taken from him.

Radio was a corch for sure but he didn't want Peterson because dude wanted a big duffel bag.
