That is a great idea. Tate was highly rated and can't even get on the field. Maybe we should start only singing walk on QBs.

We have one of the best kickers in the nation coming in next year. Think it is smart to not use an IC on a one year player if you can find someone who can kick a 45 yard field goal if need be, we know price can hit from 35 or closer. Have to say first kicker by committee I have ever seen though.

If you took the time to watch other teams, placekicking is at a premium at most schools. ****, the Patriots are on their fourth kicker this year.

We play at such a slow pace, we don't get many drives, so when we go all the way down field and don't hit our fgs it hurts a lot more.

Posted this in another thread, but as bad as kickers have been I figured it deserved its own thread. This guy entered the portal last week. He's a two time FCS all american kicker looking to be a grad transfer...

Just because you get a kicker on scholarship doesn't mean he'll be good, most college kickers suck, as long as they can find one that can hit from inside the 40 and half from 50+

Ummmm, got news for you....there were only four 3 star kickers in the class of 18, everyone else was a 2 star. Bubba started out as the #5 kicker, and dropped to 14th. There were 37 scholarship recruited kickers in the nation. Bubba dropped b/c he couldn’t hit 50% of his kicks, to the point his team stopped using him which is why is XP and FGA is so low. It was a bad year for kickers
