Did Rosier throw for 356 and 3 TD's?

He was 16-38, threw an awful INT, almost threw another one, missed several throws, and made some bad decisions.


He had a Stephen Morris-esque “big” game.
 
His inconsistency is frustrating. Today was one of his worst games. And to your point, he still put up those numbers. So the frustration, at least with me, is man what could our offense be if he was more consistent? One thing is almost certain: we would avoid some of these tight games.

one of the key stats in assessing how a QB played is yards per pass attempt. And yeah, by that measure, Rosier wasn't good today.
 
Big plays. Look at completion percentage. He didn’t have a good day. Neither did the run game.

I think we scored 3 points of 5 turnovers or something
 
Did any of you also notice the OL getting killed and Rosier getting pressure all day?

#12 didn't play great, average at best. But **** y'all need to keep some balance here. He threw for 356 and made enough plays to win the game despite not playing his best.

He did some good stuff, some bad stuff, and got the W.

Now time to get that 9th win of his career in Prime Time...

42% completion... That isn't going to get it done, we don't sustain drives, we don't take advantage of multiple short fields, and we're bad in the red zone.

Stats might lie, but over the course of this season, there are only two teams currently ranked ahead of Miami with a better statistical QB than Rosier.

J.T. Barrett, who everyone wanted demoted or removed from the team after the OK loss; and, Baker Mayfield, who a lot of people have cooled on because his team has lost or not looked dominant (sound familiar) - even though he’s completing over 70% of his passes. (Sam Darnold is Jameis Winston his last year at FSU...but not as good.)

Guess who hasn’t lost? I’ll wait...
 
He has to start thinking about moving he chains and keeping drives going. I'm not sure how much the shoulder injury played into it, but he missed on a lot of throws. Richard was invisible, which didn't help.
 
Rosier was constantly off in his ball placement, wasn't going through progressions (he looked to be throwing to a pre-determined spot into coverage) and also was poor in his decision making with the read options. It was a really frustrating game to watch.
