Obviously there has been an improvement on offense beginning with the game against Pitt. Curious to hear if the board thinks Richt finally adjusted his philosophy to better suit Kaaya and the offense, or if the offense started simply executing better for the most part.

I think it did take a while for Richt to learn how weak our OL was. The first three games gave him false hope, and then GT he was bailed out by 2 straight fumbles, where the play of the OL could've been taken as a fluke. But after FSU and UNC, he finally saw how sh*tty the OL really was and started to adjust more

Absolutely geared the game plan to the athletes. He let Kayaa sit back and fling it with some different blocking schemes. Also, he let the pass open up the run rather than always trying to do the opposite.

Not really, I still don't think our offense is where it should be with all our weapons. Njoku and Herdnon should be more involved, and there should be a lot more slants and crossing routes.

The play calling has improved a bit, but I think we get away with a lot more because our opponents are not very good (although the opponents we lost to are pretty trash as well). We are still calling all go routes on 3rd and 7 and when a defense proves they can't cover our TE we stop passing them the ball.

Thankfully against NCST I didn't see all go routes at all on third and long, but it was there plenty against UVA.

I think Richt drastically altered the game plan. We're running RPO's at 1/10th the rate we were in Oct. We're calling much fewer plays out of the I and much more out of the gun. We're max protecting much more now -- Herndon is basically a 6th OL now. WR's are running out routes and quick hitch patterns at a MUCH MORE frequent pace. And most importantly, Richt's abandon his obsession of establishing the running game.

No.

Richt is who he is. He prefers the run the ball, and has used the same philosophy the entire year.

They changed some blocking, but the plays are the same plays.

When did Gall take over from Linder at C? That's when things started to change for the Oline and the O.
