Did Mario throw 4 picks??

Guys were open, the o line is not holding their own like the first few games. Also the run game is almost non existent. Something is up with Dawson, he’s not the coach from last year. He’s calling games scared and conservative this far in the season, there is a problem.
Well - Cam covered up a lot for him.

Ok, I stand by my statement whole team sucked, did you see the first qtr where they scored 14 you know 1st also counts
The defense wasn’t perfect. But they weren’t drug around all game. They kept the game close while the offense just sputtered in the mud. The bigger issue is we punt what once today? Didn’t finish drives, Beck was ***, play calling ****.

If I’m gonna blame anything on the defense, it was the **** poor tackling they put forth today.

Almost like he is 2023 Dawson. I wonder what happen ....

You cant keep trying to hit the transfer portal for an elite QB. True elite QBs are either declaring or staying with their team (Cam Ward is a statistical anomally). They got lucky with Ward, thought they could do it again with Beck, who in my opinion, has release issues with his arm.

You cant keep doing that, you gotta get a stud out of HS and coach him up.

Would Emory Williams had been worse in this instance? Honestly, I don't know.

I don't even put it all on the QB. Total failure in preparation, not maximizing players abilities, outachemed, and out coached all night long.

A painful example is Louisville and their first drive. They march down the field and we finally get a stop. Master class in unpredictability on their part until they were stopped.

Line them up for a field goal. We should've been 100 percent about the fake there. Three

3 points won't decide a game on the first drive of the game. It shouldn't, but in typical fashion Mario and company aren't looking out for that. That's as bad as not taking the knee at GT.

This staff just gets bent over time and again.

Beck’s body language was dog **** and he’s over there holding his elbow. The second you see that **** you yank him. He’s feeling sorry for himself and milking a fake injury so it doesn’t seem like he sucks.

Never ends well in any sport.
After his 3rd (4th) pick i called we’d have to sit him to win if we got a turnover. We did and Toney scored a TD and 2pt conversion. Unfortunately even though we probably could’ve won with toney running the offense as qb it would’ve killed beck’s confidence and we need him to bounce back.

We also need to prepare a backup in case this happens again in the playoffs. Beck got his mulligan but staff is getting on him to be the best option for the rest of the season.

It's almost impossible to call plays when your QB is struggling to place the ball, and is turnover prone. Louisville's defensive gameplan was simple: They believed(and rightfully so) that if Miami had to rely on Carson Beck to throw the ball, there was a good chance he would turn it over. Guess what happened? Louisville copied the Georgia Tech gameplan from last season, and it worked.

If its Emory, I will take my chances with Beck potentially throwing 20 picks

100% don’t understand putting the ball in the air at the end - in FG range already when you’ve moved at a snails pace to get that far obviously playing for the FG - but not wanting entirely commit to play for the FG.

Was just like 1-2 notches off of the GT debacle level of malpractice when we ran it and could have kneeled it out.
No killer instinct.

All season we are timid calling timeouts before half, that kind of stuff. Kneel and run 90 seconds off and go to the locker room.

Never had to play with urgency, even fake urgency like going into half.

Tonight it was real and he didn’t know what to do.

?…who chose Beck over Mendoza?
lol 90% of this board. I liked mendoza but I’m not a qb whisperer. Ultimately we went with Beck there were questions about how his shoulder would be. He under threw the first two picks and then stopped going deep I’d be surprised if he’s at 100%.

Honestly, I'd start pushing Nickel in practice. If he's what they think he is, he should be able to handle more by this point of the season. If he's a true competitor, he should be able to flash in limited practice snaps. I'm not saying bench Beck, but you can't have this happen again.

No one outside of Malachi Toney , cj Daniel’s and keionte Scott played well tonight. Bain was a **** no show and looks tired .
Here we go with this nonsense. Dude was getting hogtied held, no calls. Dude was still useful out there. Never mind the fact that Louisville's quick game basically made it impossible for him to rack up pressures. When you are throwing the ball within 2 seconds, even Reggie White can't get a pressure.

The playoff? lol Buddy I've got news for you...

There aren’t gonna be any playoffs my friend.

This is gonna go on the script of 2023. A QB with no confidence and no run game and undisciplined **** every week

The only thought that comes to mind is Beck is not exactly the perfect qb for his system. They ran a lot of RPO’s last year. This year just about every series it’s a tight formation. It’s just a very predictable set. I also think they are asking something of Carson that he is not. Same with TVD, dude went from a hero to a freaking zero. So my thought here is the dumb asses missed on Mendoza. Kid killed us last year with RPO’s. And also no wonder the D is tired as ****. Dawson can’t call a complete drive.

Did Bain look like a top 5 pick tonight at any point? No he was invisible. We expect him to be the most dominant player on the field(he can be) but he wasn’t tonight
