Shaq Quartermen, Pickney, Redwine and Jaquan Johnson were also products of Golden recruiting. We’re literally going backwards.

Al Golden was horrible. I didn’t think it would get worse. But looking back on it, we had an explosive offense, recruited well. He’s death sentence was his butt buddy.

He was miles better than Manny. Plus, the best success we’ve had in the last 20 years was with his players in 2017…. What a ******* joke.

Golden (similar to Richt) demise was his stubbornness to fire his buddy D’onofrio. If he does this or Richt hires a better OC. Both have a long tenure and we’re not stuck in this dumpster fire.

Agree. I think had Alf scrapped his sh1tty defense and gone aggressive, he could have had a chance to be good here especially after the cloud left.

If golden was head coach and let both coordinators totally run their side of the ball we would actually be good. All he needed to do was recruit and be the head figure of the program.

At least Golden had the cloud lol He also inherited less talent than Manny did. Manny also got the benefited of already establishing his defense prior to taking over as HC and he's still failed lol.
