I don't feel we need a to get a safety coach. Rumph should be able to handle the duties there.

Doubt that, Richt would probably elevate DVD to Safety Coach.

And putting the responsibility of having to both coach AND recruit CB's/Safety's would be unfair to him & would not go well on the recruiting trail to say the least...

I dont get the obsession with Manny i really dont get it

I was never big on the Manny Diaz hire. I knew his history and I still know his history. Not much has changed. However, I get why people are shaken by the news. Manny has a lot of passion. I give him that. He says the right things and he tried to do the right things. Is he a great defensive coordinator? Absolutely not. Every offense with a pulse shredded his defense. Mainly because Manny out-schemed himself. I did see Manny improve during his tenure at Miami. Kool helped him greatly. One, he stopped Blitzing **** near every play.

The temple job is a great opportunity for him to cut his teeth as a head coach. If he does well, he may find himself being UM's next coach once richt is fired.

Disagree, it makes Richt refocus on the offense, knowing that the team must be more balanced. This is a wake up call,not a time for panic.

Richt said at his press conference he wanted a guy who could run the D without needing Richt to get involved.

Richt cannot call the plays and run the offense and oversee the defense with a green DC like Simpson.

Hes pretty much a politician then lol....i hate when people get hyped cause a mans excited on the sidelines and speaks well. Saban has no emotion and destroys teams. That WVU coach hologram has all this swag and we obliterated his squad. I didnt like some of the things Diaz did but he did a **** of a job as DC. He was not HC material for this U to be truly back.

Very reasonable concern. Every member of the offensive Staff either played for richt or coach for him in the past.

Hire Alex Grinch, he coaches Safeties also, let him and Rumph tackle the 2ndary. Force Banda to go, (I'm sure he would) and hire Kendal Briles. Oh thats right, Mark Richt is in charge... nevermind.

That move would be A+. I would call up Ron Zook for special team's. Zook is a **** of a recruiter also. He could sell a 4k T.V. to a blind man.

Failed horribly at Tennessee. Not sure what happened there versus his results at Penn state and Miss St but it’s alarming

That’s the hiccup that concerns me. He was a colossal fail at Tennessee.
