If you at his age would not want that coed near, then so be it.....give me the piece of a**, anytime, and forget the eye.

I'm sure you can read, so I won't repeat myself

What you do with, or how you protect your eyes is a personal choice. Have a good one BYE

IMO if Martell gets the waiver it will be between him and Williams for the job. All Martell did in HS was win every game he started, and that to me is as a stat that can't be understated.

Agreed. You don’t go 40-something and 0 without some easy games, some ok games, and some darn tough games in which you really have to pull out the victory to continue the streak. Then there is the playoffs and the state championship games. To do that speaks of the volume and characters of the players on the team but as well, to the leadership qualities Tate possesses. To where if we’re down early during the season or late in a game, the team will look to and listen to him, and watch him carry us to victory. One can’t speak more highly of that quality as it equates to immense talent as well. I’ll take that all day long and twice on Saturdays leading the Canes to a win.

If Manny is letting the dogs be dogs, then Perry is starting week 1. Richt was holding him back. Next time Kosi makes a porno manny will be the director. Also helps that Perry has the most expirence. Had just put together a legendary comeback vs FSU, only to be pulled in the 1st quarter the next week and have all his confidence destroyed. Enos will build him back up, can’t teach that arm strength.

Dont see Kosi winning an open comp over Jarren. Jarren is more talented, has a better work ethic, and is a better leader.

And obviously Kosi has no chance in **** of beating out Tate

To me, a perfect time to post this about this upcoming QB battle, especially if Tate gets this waiver....

Kosi got the strongest arm, most expirence, 20 point comeback win vs FSU. Tate’s big game came against Rutgers, Jarren played 6 plays vs Savannah State. Only reason you say Jarren is more talented is because you watched Perry fail towards the end of last season, but you don’t realize any QB would’ve failed, it was the system. If the slate is clean like Manny says, then Kosi is in the best position to at least start week 1.

Is Tate being heralded base off his hs career and/or QB1 documentary? I thought that D1, P5 football was a whole different animal than playing on a loaded hs team. Tate has spent 2 years under Myers and Day and all but did slim to nothing, but this board crucifies qbs at um for doing nothing under the worst qb/oc coaching in cfb. Simply put, judging our qbs under the richts is unjustifiable. Stubbornness ruined cmr credit for evaluating and developing these guys.

Im really trying to see what Tate has done or showed since entering college to validate all the hype. Im talking about the same qb who ran from comp with Fields and who could only muster up highlights in a meaningless rutgers game. Help please, im trying to see what you guys see. When Ostate blew out Michigan did Tate get in there and showcase his skills with that great qb guru HC he developed under for 2yrs (not).

Man, i hope Tate is the "real deal" and makes this team that much more deadly...but why can't perry and williams step their game up and either one shows that they are simply better than Tate under better coaching. Threads are tearing down our qbs under the richts and hyping up a qb i have yet to find any evidence that he's prepared to face uf.

If he gets his waiver, gets the nod against uf and ***** the bed; then what? You calling for the true frosh out of Houston, next man up? Im just a fan trying to see where i should be hoping Tate gets his waiver and we should go ahead get our tickets for Charlotte and maybe CFP.

You can't bash Tate Martell for only playing in blowout games in one sentence and then praise Jarren Williams, who has done nothing at all, in the next. At least Martell has given us something to gauge his abilities by. He played in 6 games, (mostly mop up duty but got some time against Oregon State when it was close) went 23-28 269 yards and a touchdown while rushing 22 times for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. Yeah most of that came against Rutgers, Tulane and Oregon State but at least he's done something. He was the backup to a Heisman finalist. Meanwhile, at Miami, we're trotting out QBs who are actively competing in a "who sucks worse" competition and Williams can't beat either of them for some PT? I hope that Enos can salvage these guys. I honestly think Richt broke Perry. Williams still has a chance to be great but he's not going to be given a job he doesn't earn.

Does Tate have to earn it?

Kosi does not have the strongest arm, did you see how many throws he under threw this year, some were just down right terrible

Perry’s problem isn’t arm strength. It’s reading the field and being able to direct the offense.

Im not bashing the kid...as a fan i want to understand the hype and where it stems from. I want the best prepared and talented guy to win the job, not the one with the most hype.

This board is stirring up a lot of praise for a guy who has done just as less as the guys already here. Why the hate on the others bc you like Tate? Why the coaches giving clean slates and the fans still listing issues from last season, but you say you believe in all Manny is doing. They all wearing the U but the fans only cheer for who they like...what if Tate gets the gig and ***** the bed(he's 3yrs in now); not struggle but stinks it up. Then the cis parade is switched to the next man.

I want Tate, Perry, and Williams to thrive under enos and make his decision very difficult. Its the name on the front and play on the field that gets me hyped...

It's not about who I want. I'm strictly going on what I've seen. One guy has produced in a limited role (martell) one guy has been all over the place (perry) one guy hasn't done anything (williams). I want the best one to be our starter. If it's the freshman kid from Texas, than so be it. I was a big Perry fan and I believe he's physically capable of being an All American type. Mentally though, I think he's a train wreck.

What are you even worried about?

The geniuses here don’t determine who the starting QB will be. That will be determined by their performance in spring and summer practices and scrimmages.
