Diaz not happy with Flopping

“It turns the game a little bit into a farce,” Diaz said. “When you are at a competitive edge and you are competing during the course of a drive and you have to stop and then the focus becomes why are we stopping? Is that something you want your team to be represented by? That doesn’t give us a reason to not perform, but the officials’ hands are tied because they are not allowed to judge intent.”

Diaz hopes this type of strategy is addressed by the NCAA during the offseason.

“That is something in college football that we have to try and look at in the offseason and find a better way to legislate,” Diaz said.

😂😂😂😂

A man with decency and common sense would shut the **** about this after coming out on the short end of a DonnyBrook with a geriatric.

I think I can speak for all Canes fans when I say, we are tired of the flopping as well.

- Flopping when it comes time to hire a coach

- Flopping when hiring coordinators

- Flopping against completely inferior opponents

The flopping ish is outta control

Hilarious. I literally thought this article was about us based on title. I should have known it was manny whining about FIU

Turns out all we needed to do before reaching 50% blue chip ratio was to fake injuries apparently cause that trumps all. What a clown

Wanny, Wannnnnnnny.....did the flopping have to do w/ our inability to convert a 3rd down?

Did the flopping cause the defense to give up a 3rd and 19th on a run?

Did the flopping cause the defense to give up a 39 yrd TD to seal the game?

Did the flopping cause your OC NOT to audible so Jarren could throw to a wide open, uncovered WR from the 2 yrd line?

Speaking of from the 2 yrd line; did the flopping cause your OC to throw a bubble screen on 3rd and goal, w/ heavy traffic and no room to run?

Did the flopping cause you to stop running the ball, although our RBs were going against one of the worst run defenses in America, already avg. 7/carry?

I'm confused, did the flopping cause your OC to continue to run RPO slants in to the teeth of a defense sitting on that route/play call?

Manny = Golden.
They both start w/ the phrase "that's on me" only to blame their incompetence on other things (Golden - night games ; Manny - FIU Panthers flopping)

At least Golden would get a lead then **** it away. This guy spots the opposition the first three quarters.

check this flop

***cing *****!

You had completely unfair advantage in regards to talent. Stop making excuses!
Bruh, if our players were doing that ish...Id just about wrap it up and be out.

What they were doing was a ***** *** move.

And Manny would have made those comments win or lose, which is what I'd expect.

If you win the game, you can have a gripe. If you lose, which you did, STFU. This is embarrassing. You already lost and want to keep the attention on it? Wow. Everyone already knows what they were doing but it wasn’t illegal and they weren’t the first team to do it. It’s slimy but it’s part of some coaches plan. Manny is probably upset he didn’t do it first after all the shenanigans he’s pulled that haven’t amounted to jack ****.

Mannys answer to the flop is personal days for his disease culture he so desperately is trying to rid but doesn’t see he’s playing into it himself. Sad.

Tuesday is incompetence. Manny Diaz failed real time situational awareness. Flopping was the story of the game and anyone who doesn't understand that doesn't own two functioning brain cells. Everything else was well within normal distribution in college football. Butch Davis was the lowlife. His weakling actions are going to spark offseason scrutiny and a rules change that will forever be pinned on FIU. It's bizarre that you can be penalized for questionable holding yet nothing was flagged on a slime who blatantly cheats four times.

It's just too damned bad that a high profile announcing crew wasn't calling that game. Kirk Herbstreit would have savaged Butch Davis and made those 4 flopping incidents properly the national sporting spotlight throughout the following week. Instead you had an obscure game called by Aaron Murray who made some decent remarks but simply doesn't own the gravitas and didn't understand he needed to impose himself on that occasion and those four atrocities.

Butch Davis should have had national news crews on his campus and in his office all week, digging and demanding for anything related to those flops. His laughable deflection to check the injury report is no different than being told to reads the transcripts. These cowards somehow believe that lies in print are no longer lies. Their devotees are so remarkably stupid it actually works among sniveling SAMs.

Everyone complaining about Manny “whining” about the flopping I’m sure Saturday night was saying...

“You can’t be mad at FIU, they are using a strategy within the rules, because officials can’t judge intent. Nothing wrong with it at all and I’m honestly not bothered by it.”

...man GTFOH. You people are so blinded by your hatred for this man that all common sense goes out the door. And he didn’t bring it up, he was answering a question that was asked if him.

always nice to see you on the board and read your posts, Mrs Diaz.

Manny sounds like a sour loser. Team is mentally soft because they allowed it to get in their heads.
Butch did whatever it took to win within the rules, even if people didn’t care for his style of doing so.

LOL

Yeah the flopping was the national story.

Butch turned the game into some WWF cartoon which was unforgivable. But Miami’s performance was .epically bad. Miami never made FIU pay for the cheesy dives, which is on them. Miami got clowned, and had no answer. Just a bunch of impotent Potemkin posers.
