Diaz not happy with Flopping

No excuse for losing.

To address this issue as a whole, very simple to legislate. Replay official reviews the flop and if confirmed a timeout is charged. If no timeouts, a personal foul penalty given. It was very easy to determine intent on atleast one of the plays. The dude was literally laughing and high fiving teammates. Very easy to implement and enforce because that crap made Soccer flopping look legit.

Regardless of all those that want to continually bash Diaz at every opportunity - and deservedly so, and by no means does it justify losing to FIU, but - Diaz is 100 % right on this particular comment.

FIUs continued blatant flopping was complete BS.

Whether Diaz said something to Butch after the game, whether other teams have had this happen to them and still beat FIU, whether it may have or may not have affected the game, whether it should or should not have affected anything and we should have won regardless, whether we could have somehow prevented the flopping, and whether Diaz sucks as a coach or how could this even be questioned, are all different issues and are not the subject of my comment.

The flopping was BS (and I would have the same comment if we had won).
Almost makes Vlade Divac look semi-legit (ehh....not really).

Guaranteed that the NCAA will address this during the off-season.

Lane Kiffin and MTSU didn’t even bring it up. Prob cuz they ran over FIU

He was dead wrong to talk about it publicly because it makes him look weaker than he already looked. His only comment should have been that it doesn’t matter because had we done our job we would have mopped them flops and all.

FIU flopping? So what. It should have done nothing but extend a vicious beating. Manure should have punished them for it by calling his timeouts at the end of the game up 50 throwing into the end zone. Then he should have met Booch at midfield and said, “You wanted to extend the game so that’s what we did at the end.”

Haven't watched those other games and don't plan to, don't know and don't care what if any flopping occurred in those games, and don't follow either of those programs to know what anybody said or care what anybody involved with those schools said.

Nah, disagree. He was right to call out that BS, albeit he was egged on by whoever was interviewing him. Doesn't make him look weaker as he already and immediately took full unconditional responsibility for the loss and did not use the blatant BS flopping as the reason for the loss. I would have expected him to say the same thing if we won.

This from a guy who is still wondering about players doing ups and downs as we get to the last game of the season????

“It turns the game a little bit into a farce,” Diaz said. “When you are at a competitive edge and you are competing during the course of a drive and you have to stop and then the focus becomes why are we stopping? Is that something you want your team to be represented by? That doesn’t give us a reason to not perform, but the officials’ hands are tied because they are not allowed to judge intent.”

Diaz hopes this type of strategy is addressed by the NCAA during the offseason.

“That is something in college football that we have to try and look at in the offseason and find a better way to legislate,” Diaz said.

😂😂😂😂
Make your voice heard and put this lispy whiny little ***** nerd on notice and his scumbag yellow teeth “4 hour search” boss as well!
