1:45... Ed MFin Reed...

Beautiful thing there...

For Real. Still feels like a dream to have the GOAT involved in our day to day ops.

"For me it's just my background," Lashlee said. "I threw 71 times in a game twice. When I played we never had a guy that ran faster than 4.6 but we led the country in total offense because we played fast, wore (the defense) down, had guys that executed at a high level. ... That's my background and I've seen it work over the years. Tempo is the great equalizer. Look at the Super Bowl, the last six minutes. The 49ers dominated till they went up tempo, then the defense wasn't as effective. I just believe in that, what I've always done. What fits here, if you talk about South Florida, we have access to a lot of good speed, athletes. Getting our guys in space allows their speed to be opened up and used to their advantage."

keeping it ******* simple! I love it!

Just listening to Ed Reed, this was really impressive. And it goes far beyond football. He spoke about mentoring and leading young men, and that -- this part was VERY important -- most of these kids that will come to them, will NOT play in the NFL. But the lessons learned from this game can be so valuable in their real life (being coachable, sacrificing, being disciplined)

I loved his message. He understands this programs DNA and loves the U. Who knows what his responsibilities will really be, but Reed was flat out preaching today. I'm glad he's back in the building and is officially part of this program. Based on what I heard today, we hit a home run, I really believe that

Rhett Lashlee on the mic:

Not sure who said it but he already talks like a HC in waiting. When he gets this things turned around here I’m sure a ton of other programs will come calling. Unless the team screws the pooch again and Manny is fired. We then might have our new HC on the staff.
