Diaz Is The Lispy Nerd in HS That Wants To Be Cool

And this is his biggest issue.

SoFla and “Miami Guys” have always had big personalities, big ego’s, and now in 2020 these Miami kids have a lot of baggage and lack of focus compared to older generations

We see so many top SoFla guys excel at Bama cause the HC is is on their *** and demands perfection. Or we see the hard working, lower rated SoFla guys slip through the cracks but excel at the college and pro level cause they naturally have the drive and work ethic.
If Miami wants to be successful by recruiting the top SoFla talent, they need a HC who will instill a no BS mentality. And Manny is far from that, he himself celebrates the BS.

Manny gets just as excited as these 18-20 year old kids when we score a TD, get a turnover, sack, etc. cause he can finally be cool like them

He’s not turning these kids into men he’s just letting them be kids. And that means inconsistency, unwarranted ****iness, mental weakness, etc.

That’s his “players coach” style. Cause he’s not a tough guy type, but that’s what kids need now a days. Think anyone on these team is afraid of anyone on the staff or respects their “achievements”. No because nobody on staff has any besides maybe Lashlee with AUB

Manny is not the guy and will never be. He was a decent DC with mostly Golden recruits but we have a two year sample size that shows he’s going to be on a long list of former HCs who will never be a HC in football again

When I saw Manny celebrating a PI and then going on the slide I knew this year was ****ed it was just a matter or time and what game/team

And that nothing has changed besides our OC and QB. The real problem is deeper and is still there
 
He’s probably over at the players dorm smoking a blunt with them telling them it’s ok trying to be their big brother...Problem is these kids just see a guy they can get over on and do whatever they want to do and get away with it.

Being a hardass only works when a coach proves he's a winner. No one wants to play for a loser coach that's also an insufferable ****. If Diaz changes now and tries to be a disciplinarian, the players will laugh him out of the room. If he wants to play Mr. Nice Guy, he needs some firebreathers on his staff to keep players in line.
 
Manny is making millions to be the head coach at the U, but I am sure he would rather trade places with the COOL guys that make fun of him on a message board.

He’s not going to be a HC for long if he keeps this up

Also this is his defense, he’ll be lucky to have a P5 DC job again if he keeps this up

The kids aren’t the only ones that have zero respect for him. Even the dumb fans are done with him. Can’t wait for Saban to show his lack of respect next year.
