Seems like that happens with just about every QB we faced. (Apart from ND and VT)
Wisconsin just beat us by throwing the football not be queen of the running game.
Let that set in.

was gonna say this. I was at the game, Redwine was clearly being targeted.

We need more length and awareness in our secondary. We're ******* short and always playing a step behind. Of everyone on the field, Michael Jackson looked like the most complete CB and he's not even that fantastic.

You think Navy has more talented dbs than us? They just held UVAs Benkert to 16-36, no tds, 1 int and a qbr of 10.1. Benkert against us was 28-37 for 384 yards, 4 tds, 1 int and a qbr of 60.3.

When this many qbs, look this good against us, time after time, there's something structurally wrong with our pass defense. It's not normal for regular qbs to go on 15-15 streaks against a secondary.

After watching the UVA and Toledo QBs against mediocre Ds in their bowl games, and watching this Wisconsin QB light is up, everyone’s Donofrio alarm bells should be going off
 
The entire staff gets a pass because the last few hires were so bad.

The same people will make excuses no matter what, even if it's something that's an obvious issue.
 
Maybe we need to stop hiring DC's whose names start with D because that's the only D we get out of them.
 
Going forward Diaz may prove to be a big liability if he doesn’t get his head out his ***. This isn’t a talent issue, this is a Diaz issue.

If Richt isn’t willing to make some serious changes across the board including him NEVER calling another play while he’s the HC here then Richt and the whole bunch of them with the possible exception oh Kool can take A hike .

Richt needs to put his ego behind the good of the program and be will willing to call out with some of the stupid **** we see from week to week.

Mine has already gone off. Manny's Defense is an issue. It needs to be addressed.
 
Diaz is solid, but not elite. He overthinks himself. Too many stunts where the QB just steps up and runs through a gaping hole. Game after game. Tackling is consistently average. Undisciplined. How many average college QBs did Miami make look good?

Manny is Buddy Ryan compared to D’Ono but that’s not a significant accomplishment. I think there any number of DCs who could be successful here by running an aggressive, base 4-3 defense.

The key hire was Coach Kool.

We have a Diaz problem, and it’s much worse than most people think. Put simply, Richt hired a man he will be unable fire, even though it’s painfully obvious Diaz is the weak link on the staff, thats overmatched as a DC. Why? Diaz is Cuban, he’s a Miami native, and he dad is the former mayor with political sway. The Cuban fan base will lose their collective minds and hang Richt in effigy if he fired Diaz.

And this is a major issue, because Diaz isn’t good enough to be a head coach anywhere meaningful and he’s not talented enough as a DC to get another job at a brand name school. Richt is beholden to Diaz, and we are stuck, just like we were with Onofrio
 
We make every QB look like Tom Brady. I remember watching the Toledo game in the first half and pass coverage was also ****. Virginia’s QB looked like he was taking target practice how did he do vs Navy?

The middle of the field was open all night just like vs Clemson. Teams adjust to Manny’s schemes and apparently he plays a poor game of chess. 3rd down defense probably the worst I have ever seen these past 3 games. You can’t tell me we are that untalented. Sure we don’t have Ed Reed back there anymore but with the right coaching and schemes those kids can excel.

Also before you continue to give Rick a pass for his second year this is Chryst’s 3 year. Also Wisky doesn’t get the kids we get so time to start holding feet to the fire so to speak!

What happened to Young? I didn’t see him get hurt but I didn’t see him out there either. Bandy was also getting beat a few times and that was alarming. This WR group wasn’t even in the top 5 we faced all year yet they were open more than any I feel like. HOW?

I'm ****ed this is the best we can do. Talented players make some coaches look better than what they are. Diaz was terrible today managing the clock and went to the zone at the worst of times.

Wisconsin has like 6 four stars on their team. They have a better staff imo

Get used to it bub. He’s here until HE choses to leave. NONE of these guys are getting fire for 10+ years minimum. This is what we got.
