I aint a diaz fan but when the offense converts 1 3rd down the whole fckin game then i don't want to hear shît.

I just wish there were more 3rd and 1's so I can see the opposing coach just keep calling FB dives and Manny never changing his defense

Very true especially with the zone at weird times, but with those turnovers his D was out there for quite some time without getting held being called.

Is it squarely on Manny or is it cause he was forced to run zone since they were beating Delaney, Bandy, and Dean when in man coverage? Think its a combination of not having enough quality depth and not knowing when to call certain packages. He can be criticized for sure but look at it from two perspectives.

I like Diaz but he's overrated by our fan base. Far more qualified individuals out there to coach at UM

You got that right. He is not the DC to get us to become the dominating Defense that Miami is known for. He out schemes himself. If something is working, stick with it. It's almost as if he is trying too hard to convince his peers that he is the smartest DC with his knowledge instead of just calling the plays that work for his personnel

Diaz has his issues. Zones at terrible times, too much line stunting. However, he’s not the guy in position who doesn’t turn his head for an easy INT. Or the guy getting held. The LBs and Safeties letting WRs run right by their face

Delaney Bandy and Dean doesn’t really sounds like a vaunted CB trio. For now I’ll let him slide with what’s going on because of the guys we have back there.

If he continues to let teams make converting on 3rd and long this easy, we’ll never be able to play consistent defensive.

We just made Wisky's quarterback look like Tom Brady. Yeah the offense sucked, obviously, but defense was up and down. And they got shredded in the passing game. Straight up.

brock, i want to see you savage Diaz and crew like Cane Dynasty mauled Jobe. Get em!

Secondary played terrible...guys got beat in man coverage all game. Run defense wasn't terrible considering they were running 2/3TE sets, 2 FB sets, etc. but pass rush was missing most of the game.

Diaz has to take some responsibility, but the D was hung out to dry again during the 2nd/3rd quarters when the offense did nothing to hold onto the ball

That is the issue right there. those THREE INTERCEPTIONS turned the tide of the game.

This was an all-around fail by the whole team, offense, defense, and special teams.

It was a very winnable game, but when the plays were there to be made they came up short in all 3 phases.

The whole thing just fell apart as soon as Rosier threw that first pick. All the air went out of the balloon. It's like the entire team just said, "Oh no! Here we go again!" And that was that.

Defense couldn’t get off the field to save their life. It’s really an atrocious night when slow, white tight ends are toasting our defensive backs.

We didn't make plays tonight defensively and looked a step too late a lot tonight. Quarterman makes that interception when we are just down 24-21 then we could be talking differently. My judgement for Diaz comes next season. Should be 10 returning starters and 19 in the 2 deep. He underperforms next season then we will have a big decision on hand. P.S this staff better land their remaining recruiting targets as well
