Has played 1 ranked team this year and it was ******* Iowa who like Ped St hasnt played anyone. dIAZ always looks good against ****** teams. As long as he has superior talent he looks good. Average DC. Will see in a couple days if you still think that. Oh look Jonathan Taylor just ran for another 10 yards.

Any above average OC picks apart the faults in that scheme.

I dont think he defeated a great offensive as DC or HC here.

Al Golden is doing better than Diaz right now and was a much better HC here than Diaz was… I’d go so far as to say if Golden wasn’t married to Donofrio and a few other bum coaches like Paul Williams, and our Administration was as committed to football back then as we are now, he’d probably still be coaching here… ci don’t really get the obsession with fired guys here tho. Diaz wasn’t it at HC. And maybe if he was here after he spent 3 years at Temple and maybe another few years at a better program things would be different… but it obviously didn’t work out. And nothing is more damning than the fact that he was our Lb/DC here under Richt than became HC and our LB group is still ****ed kinda ****ed 2 years after he left…

Stop obsessing over Manny Diaz lol.

he is always a DC/ LB coach and cant recruit or develop LB's EVERY play regressed under him. He starts off well and by year 3 he implodes.
Good OC's with good QB's it him alive.

Golden was bitter he got lied too. kept Coach D out of spite. Golden had flaws be he was a good recruiter under the conditions and developed kids.
he won recruiting battles with a hand tied behind him back and developed kids into NFL players. **** he got Olsen Pierre and Thurston Ambrisder into NFL.
That being said, Richt was the best coach we had since butch, his health just made him fall apart.
