Diaz is a young Saban

Dude a young Saban without no coaching experience who couldn't stop Wisconsin two years in a row. Man these are dark times in Miami.

Give me a break. How many short fields and crappy positions did the offense put the D in during that game. Most teams would have been down 3-4 TDs by the end of the first half.

By the end that D was gassed cause of the TO and 3 and out **** show the offense put out there last week.

Thats how I'm looking at this hire.
It's like we would have hired Saban in the 90s instead of hiring Butch, who also didn't have any HC experience I might add.

Díaz does have the characteristics of eventually being a great HC.
Let's give hin our full support as a fan base.

A young Saban would never have inexperience serving as his defensive coordinator.

Lol Saban has also been a beast of a recruiter. Diaz, not so much. Has this great defense and still can't close on a good Defensive class

Short-field? So, when Wisconsin started on their own 25 and went straight down the field, was that a short field? When Duke started on their own 25 and broke off a 75-yard run, was that a short field? When Boston College started the game on their own 25 and had a 10-play scoring Drive, was that a short field?

You can't blame the offense when the defense takes the field first and get shredded.

This thread is going to be archived for two years time. Either Diaz will be a Young SABAN or the Bring Back Butch people will be ragging on a 69 year old man trying to choose between Sustacal and Ensure.

This x 1000. Manny was gashed by Wisky early on. His Slurpers have no answer for that. What Mullen and The Gatah will do if we don’t have a serious innovative OC?

Richt 2.0.....

True. Diaz has shown very poor overall game prep. Teams typically march right down the field on us on opening drives and score. He eventually makes adjustments but it takes a lot longer for him to feel the game. We are not sniffing the college football playoffs anytime soon with Diaz. This is another experiment.
I completely befuddled by the allure of this guy.

A young Saban without the ability to develop & recruit.

Gives a MEAN interview though, uses lots of flashy buzzwords.

Rather than hear about how great the Lord is after losses, we will now hear the following after losses:

"This is Miami. That []_[] means something. Look at the guys that played here. We are going to uphold that. We will be Miami. We are going to keep working to bring back the []_[]."

More like a younger Dabo. Same kind of energy and connection with players. Now can he recruit and develop like Dabo? Clemson has a lot of "resources".

I feel like our dumbass AD listened to few Manny interviews & was sold.

There was no search to conduct because he already had his mans!
