Wouldn’t his leash be a little shorter since he’s an extension of the previous regime and the patience from everyone would/should be much shorter?

That's the problem. He's already proven himself to suck in all phases of running a program and was part of a staff that failed from before. So not firing him makes the pool of interested assistants to replace Baker, for instance, decline with each terrible loss.

Exactly why he needs to go. Pronto. Sometimes, after you play it out, there's just no way to go forward.

Same with Richt. It was obvious we couldn't go forward with him as HC, and Manny repeated all his mistakes.

Don’t focus on Manny. The issue here is bigger. It’s the people making the decisions. They need to go.
