Diaz gone

This program makes DCs, not the other way around. Diaz was seen as a journeyman with spotty success before he got here. Now he’s a HC at a good program. No one was looking for him to be their HC before he got here.
This program made Jimmy Johnson. He was a great coach, but needed Miami-type talent to reach an elite level. He couldn't do it at Oklahoma State.

If Richt is smart, he can find a very bright up-and-coming DC who will achieve the same success as Diaz. The problem will be the interim effect on recruiting for the 2019 class. I still wonder about Richt's judgement on certain things, especially his apparent stubbornness. Still, he did not seem to interfere with Manny"s defense so that seems like a good sign.

If my main man, Diaz, was a Nole. Then why did his defenses thrive the past two seasons and what not. Heck, a Nole would have GONE THROUGH THE MOTIONS, akin to your boy Richt and his coterie of offensive offense assistants! Now those good ol' boys are " under cover " Noles and what not.

Again, even before the news broke today, I firmly BELIEVED Diaz wouldn't be in Thee Gables next season. Heck, if Cane dude would've CONNECTED the Orange and Green dots, he would've concluded that Diaz was tired, angry, and frustrated because his defense had TO CARRY Richt's lame sorry **** offense the past two seasons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So good for Diaz! And I hope Diaz is relatively successful and all that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He went to FSU and was GA there, that kind of makes him one. Not blaming him for leaving, heck Mark never got the feathers off him from his time there. Manny brought some of the old Cane defense back and I thank him for that. Doesn’t really matter who Mark replaces him with because until we get new HC we are screwed.
