Diaz gone

DCs salivate over this job. These athletes are tailor made for an aggressive, attacking system. People *****ed about Diaz being hired. He wasn't a highly sought after candidate when we picked him. This job propelled him into a HC job.
This program makes DCs, not the other way around. Diaz was seen as a journeyman with spotty success before he got here. Now he’s a HC at a good program. No one was looking for him to be their HC before he got here.

Lol at the thread Diaz goong nowhere.......that was the kiss of death on here

Please don't include me with those Cane CLOWNS whom opined Diaz would be back in Thee Gables. Because I faithfully and confidently opined Diaz had seen his final days in Miami. hUh.

Very good point. Just really hope the people in charge understand that our next DC needs this exact same mentality that manny had in terms of aggression

well that's where richt (admittedly a stubborn useless coach on O) has a vision in mind for his D. he picked Manny when everyone hated him for his failures at texas. richt likes the aggressive style on D so i imagine **** pick another guy with the same mindset

That is sad. I hope his contract with Temple includes a clause which allows Diaz apply and get HC gig at Miami.

I absolutely disagree with U! Now, back in the day DC's wanted to come to Miami. But those days are OVER and PASSE!!!!!!!!!!!! In other words, NO defensive coordinator would want to come to Miami, now, and have to CARRY Richt's archaic offense and all that. Enter what Diaz had to put up with this season and last season. dUh.
Which is why Dave Aranda was leaving Wisconsin for this job before LSU offered a bunch more money, right? These athletes in SFLA will get a DC page, as long as he isn't an imbecile. Coaching defense at Miami is not rocket science. Only stubborn fools, or guys who can't reach the kids fail here.

Awful recruiting class.
7-5 season.
4-game losing streak.
One of the worst power 5 offenses in the country.
Fumbling of QB position.
Star WR leaves.
Another great WR breaks his neck.
Lose the one coach who headed up our only elite aspect of the team.

Big picture, this program is engulfed in flames inside of a dumpster.
