Diaz Dismisses Entire Offensive Staff?

He said “**** all you bums”. Also I get why people want Dugans and Hartley to stay (recruiting) but as far as actual coaching goes, the receivers can’t catch and out special teams is one of the worst in the ACC.

This might be my favorite post on CIS ever.

The one issue that I see, its inevitable really, are his loyalties to defensive staff.

If they falter next season, UNREASONABLY, watch out if he doesn't make changes.

I'm concerned his supposed friendship with Banda could prove a weak spot for him.

Time will tell.

It just means that Manny has a boss OC already lined up, who wants his own staff...

Agree. Manny as DC wouldn’t want position coaches picked for him without having input. I’m thinking he’s doing the same for his future OC.

This is beautiful. The offense held the team back and he trying to get an aggressive team on both sides of the ball. That was and is Miami football. An aggressive offense, aggressive defense and steady but explosive special teams play.

There's pretty limited evidence anyone on the O staff could actually coach. They were all part of the problem.

Yes Dugans and Hartley were good recruiters. So what? Get the right offense in place and the scheme will do the recruiting.

So what? This board was blowing up yesterday about "hire a guy who can recruit, not Diaz", "Diaz cant recruit".... he can't and just showed the 2 best the door. Sure let's keep Patke and dismiss Hartley. Ya'll can F*** right off with that BS. Disappointing 36 hour for this Cane. Manny better bring it with the new staff.

The difference is that he's worked with them for 3 years. It's a lot harder to fire someone that you've been working with for that long. He's not "new" to the team.

Coker fired a lot of His staff after the 05' Peach Bowl, how'd that work out??? What Diaz is doing is par for the course for new HC hires, it's no measure for success like some are suggesting.

I thought Hartley did well with Njouku and Herndon. Brevin was excellent for a true freshman. But if he’s gone, so be it.

Coker was there as HC already and trying to save his own skin. Manny just got hired. He could have made token changes, fired 1-2 people, and called it a day. He cleaned house instead. I know that I was put in charge of my current team, I'd have a hard time firing everyone.

That’s funny, about half the board swore up and down that Manny would not fire any body. That led to about 1000 Manny hate posts. Bunch of unintelligent fools on this board. Of course he was going to ax all those clowns.
This board is practically a psych ward. What do you expect

Coker was making scapegoats. That usually fails.
