Diaz and staff deserve some praise.....

Haven't paid much attention to the schtick. Seeing that they suck, we whooped that ***, and they're coach got fired. All in recent time. I'll go on a limb and say it's a semenholes troll...
Right and none of those cacksuckers have 1/1000th of the style and panache of our accepted resident nole troll Vern. Only room at the inn for one.

I have never had any doubt in Diaz and the staff. IT TAKES TIME TO LEARN HOW TO WIN. Its not over night. Also if Williams had never been hurt we would have at least 1 more win ( GT) and would be coastal winnners IMO . So Yes the staff does .

Wasn’t as dominant ? Got **** what more do you want we won 52-27

I wanted a 52-17 type win.

I love the win. LOVE it. But. I DID NOT want them to crease us as often as they did on the ground. Didn’t like our DT rotation. Expected us to adjust better after half. Was not happy about that at all. UL confirmed my thoughts about our defense and Baker.

We’re too slow, and he’s still a mediocre PC.

But - AGAIN - I love the win.

I didn't bash the staff after the bad games in year 1, but I'm not gonna praise them after a few good games. They're showing progress and still have problems. I see promising things (JW, DL, OL improvement) but still a few problems.

Gonna wait til the season is over and then take stock. I will say that if they keep up how they played the past two weeks, I'll overlook a lot of deficiencies in the name of continued improvement

If Diaz can get us to 9 wins... and we finish with a top 15 recruiting class... and he raids the portal once again to address our weaknesses, I'll be more than a semi-believer

Amazing how utterly low people's standards are. No rational person was expecting an undefeated regular season, most of us would have been happy with 9+ regular season wins(with this tissue soft schedule), and Diaz, even if he wins out won't be able to deliver even that. Miami is showing signs of progress, but it's hard to definitively know because Miami has beaten two mediocre teams. Is it that Miami has taken steps forward, or is it that FSU(Whose coach got canned) and Louisville(Who won 2 games last season) are so mediocre, that even a team like Miami can beat them handily? If U of L had anywhere near a competent D, this game would have been close, because the Miami D was giving up chunk plays left and right. Luckily Miami pulled away, and exposed Louisville as a limited team that cannot consistently push the ball downfield with the pass.

There's nothing wrong with being optimistic, but don't act shocked that a lot of us aren't buying this stock right now. The underlying metrics aren't where one would like, so I'm looking for more data points before I start to believe in this staff. Remember, this staff managed to give away multiple games this year, by failing to address the kicking situation, and by being utterly inept offensively.
There is NO metric.............it is called KICKING on ST.
That was the missing card....If we had it and played it.....you know the rest.....
Yes I said it, the KICKING game, and yes it is on Diaz, but also on the players....

I am happy with the results of the last 2 games. I will say again, I have been predicting an 8-5 season and that has not changed. Hopefully next year will be better.

Signs of improvements?........sure. Out of the woods? Not by a long shot.
Even in a good win you could still see areas of weakness.
It hasn't been long since we were beaten by awful teams. Caution my friends, caution.

I ****ted on this staff more than R Kelly ****es on teenage girls. But I have to admit there has been a lot of improvement over the last three games. And before the hater bridage says anything about us beating ****** teams. Do the math, earlier in the year we were losing to these same ****** teams and now we are stomping them out so that’s progress right.
