I think you guys are taking what he tweeted out of context. He also said he was happy with the Miami offense the same day. And, said that all the RB's in the class will be trouble..

That kid sounds like a Florida gator to me that kid is not coming to miami. We should of kept cronkrite but im good with Scarlett and walton.
 
Seriously you guys have to stop with the loser mentality. How many years do grown men take 1 random *** tweet and blow it out of proportion on what a 17 year old thinks. Has anybody thought that tweet meant he's grinding hard for his future and feeding his family when he makes it to the NFL? No, you just think that it's "he's getting paid to go the SEC". Stop it

I don't take myself quite so seriously, I thought it was humorous that it was roughly the same thing that Powell said last year before bailing to UF. I don't even have a guess where Dexter ends up, I was feeling quite confident last week until this popped up, but if you've followed recruiting long enough, you know that there are some things there that we should be uneasy with.

But not every tweet and every kid is the same. Chad Thomas had mad tweets last year about how he couldnt wait to leave Miami and he was so frustrated yet he stayed now did that mean he was going? You're saying anytime a kid tweets that it's referring to it and let's be real Powell left for a better depth chart and he always wanted to go to UF but they didn't show much interest until the end.

do people actually think that we're some kind of white knight program that recruits cleanly? we're the same as any other big school, but our pockets aren't as deep. allen bailey had rims that cost more than my car.

It's just a discussion man. He's from an area that typically sends kids to UF, all the Gators have said from day one that he will end up there, his parents like UF, and he visited UF and came back tweeting the same thing Powell said before he bolted. I've no clue if the tweet means anything at all relevant to this, but let's not pretend his recruitment and the last weekend's events are not worth discussion, especially since we seem to have cut bait with Cronk.
 
You're right, no way Williams could ever bail on his commitment.

Just like last year there was no way Valentine would bail, he LOVED Jethro, that was his fam! Powell? Gibbons? Solid as they come!

Yup, and when Gayot posted that tweeted which was directed at Hester, Rutgers fans were up in arms that we payed for Hester......
 
This "news story" on Dex is from the Gaytors web site written by a Gaytors mod. Rivals love to stir things up by posting quotes out of context to make the home team (UF in this case) feel like they are in the drivers seat. FSU mods are the worst at this by the way. Dexter has been actively recruiting for the canes, hard. I feel as safe with him as I do any of them. Remember with Rivals, clicks equals cash. They want controversy, anyone rember Gruden to Miami?

I understand and it is worth discussion but also nobody is considering that it can easily be nothing. I mean how many times do UF/FSU articles about UM commits end up being bull****? Many. Not saying we shouldnt talk about this but it's going to take much more then that to have me spooked especially when their offense other then Robinson sucked against Kentucky

Ice was also at the game Friday night as well and was quite attentive of our running back commit.

He's not going to UF...UF won't win no more than 5 games this year. He's staying put at UM ESPECIALLY since Cronk just decommitted.
