Just spoke with him and he will not be attending Miami this fall officially.

Said he is still speaking with Miami coaches and that he expects to be there in the spring.

Sucks for us, and him, that he can't be here for the fall. But if he's able to be here in the spring, I'll take it.

not a surprise but its still disappointing...will he still have an offer in the spring?

So that would leave him with 1 year left to play? Would be surprised if he ever steps foot here. Kid should try to get in contact with some other schools to see if he can get in elsewhere.

I dont see why we wouldnt save a scholie for him. This year is the "turn the corner" year. Next year is the "make a serious run" year. The core of the great talent on the team will be Juniors and Seniors next year. To add a weapon like Bond would be great. Especially a weapon that will be ready to go right away.
