I hate Goff enough as is. They will sign or trade for a real backup QB. If they aren't going to play Ennis in the slot he is damaged goods. He has no future playing corner on the outside.
Bootle was getting sautéed out there as well.

Arnold has been dealing with injuries all camp. Our All-pro safety Jospeh has been limited. Outside of Rock Ya-sin DBs have been dirt. Trey Lance looks like Jaden Daniels.

I'm far more concerned with EDGE2. Even With Levi out for season and Alim likely not going to be back till midseason, DT wouldn't be a big concern given Reader, Tyleik, and then Wingo and Roy lopez are likely to be solid. But Man another year of betting on Davenport... At this point I'd be shocked if they don't re-sign Zadarius Smith tbh especially with him dating Kash Doll... Reed, Arnold, and Amik will hold it down well at CB imo. Rakestraw will continue to develop, theres not much pressure on him as CB4.

Offensively by far the biggest question is just Oline. Right now Thats more impactful than OC imo. I think a WR core of AmonRa, Jamo (gunna breakout for sure), Patrick, Raymond, Teslaa is legit. And obviously they have great RB and TE.... But Lions already fell off quite a bit in pass blocking last year, for all the talk about how good the Oline was they were average in pass blocking by like all metrics. And the weakest link on the OLine (and entire offense really) last season was Glasglow at guard, and it seems he has to be the starting Center right now. Which that probably will protect him more, and give time for Tate to learn all the calls and maybe move to center next year...But also Decker is showing some age. And just obviously Mahogany and Tate are very inexperienced... I'd guess their goal is in a year or two to transition to:
LT - Manu (if Decker retires, still should have another 2-3 years though tbh)
LG - Mahogany
C - Ratledge
RG - Frazier
RT - Sewell

Man Lions back to back years truly ****ed with injuries. Sucks. They had a team last 3 years that could have won a Superbowl ...

DB has jumped right to the top with Edge2 and Center and Future Starting OT to top of needs. Branch torn Achilles which is terrible for DBs, and Kerby Joseph major like degenerative knee issues similar to Todd Gurley... Going from best Safety tandem in the league to who the **** knows next yr.... Sucks. And Arnold has been average at best....
