All Miami, crucified Shapiro by spelling out who he was, commended Donna, did it with passion, worth the watch if you can catch it on ESPNU. Also gave fair and realistic evaluation of the team. Felt our team was dangerous but Thursday night has created doubt, loving on Dallas and impressed with depth. He is concerned.

You beat me to it. I saw it and was thinking the same thing. I know it has been said on this board before but Des always seems to be showing love for Miami. Now it's time for the Canes to lay the smack down!

was just about to say..Howard lives down south miami....and comes nd checks out our practices every year.....think he is a cane fan behind his michigan love to be honest...we seem to have the swagger he had back in the day....

He seldom says anything bad about us...and is usually pretty honest and spot on about us...

He and Herbstreit are the best and most legit non bias guys doing college football

You are absolutely correct in the credibility and candor of Herbie and Des. There are some hateful hacks and di.c-kheads out there tht hate on us while deviating from the truth as to what we have gone through, given up and the damage to the program. The good news about the decision and the ranking at this time have made us very relevant again, keep the good news coming and the beat F$Who.

Worth the watch will see all types of varying opinions, some just fail and refuse to say anything other than a "slap on the wrist" & "got off easy", best line was NCAA is becoming impotent.
 
As has been mentioned Des is a South Florida guy, even spoke on campus in Hecht dorm 4 years ago

Herbstreit has always been fair. He also picked us to win it all in 2006....boy was he wrong. He was also one of the worst college QBs EVER. Decent guy for a Buckeye.

Yea, when the ****storm hit and everyone and their momma was clamoring for the death penalty. It was mainly those two (herb & des) who was on our side.
