He ain't no Sean Taylor but he is **** good. Isn't he mike James cousin?
 
Yup just said the same thing in the other thread. Got at least 2 more years of dealign with him too...one of the better safeties I've seen in a long time.
 
Their defense should be excellent next year. Awesome test for Richt.
 
**** naw iam Not a Noles fan at all homie i just recognize a Real *** player when i see one we need players like that in our Jerseys man Real Talk we haven't had players like him in awhile man.

Derwin James looks like the best safety to play in awhile. But will it last, who knows. Definitely been elite this year. Literally threw an olinemen earlier this season, was crazy lol.

They're projected to lose 5 players on defense. That doesn't mean they won't be excellent. People tend to see "oh, lost players, they'll suck." It's flawed.

They're starting two TRUE freshman at key positions this year. Both will be impact players next year. They lose a DT whose backup I consider to be an upgrade by next year. They lose Jalen Ramsey at CB, who is a big loss, except that he's nowhere near the player at Corner that he was roaming the field. The downgrade will not kill them.

Their biggest problem will be replacing two very good LBs. Lucky for them, they have decent talent there and their pass rush, with Josh Sweat, should be better next year. One of the two LBs they lose is their WILL, which is an easier position to fill if you have the athletes.

I think it should be an excellent defense. We shall see. I don't think they lose anyone on offense.

No excuses. Richt should be geared up for them at home.

Their defense will be mega loaded next year, especially if Sweat can reach the potential everyone expected pre-injury coming out of HS. Their only weakness will be the LB core.
 
Where the **** is the great 5 star Ermon Lane? I was told he was the sht a few years ago by all the dade county crew and I just didn't see it. He just looked like a serviceable D1 wr to me. Alright EL cheerleaders please stand the fck up....fckn 5 star....rivals bullsht. He has 50 yards receiving the whole year on 6 catches.

during his recruitment i said his film most reminded me of aldarius johnson's. very underwhelming athlete. lacks explosion

It's a good thing I mentioned I think they'll be excellent next year. Also, Houston is a really well-run team in a bowl game. These days, anyone can get scored on. In certain games, Gary Patterson's team has allowed a ****boat of points despite having excellent defenses.

But, go ahead. Tell me why their defense will suck.

Agreed that's why I'm not in favor of having Chuck Pagano as DC, the college game as passed him by. Time to move on to some younger and hungrier coach.
