I asked last night about the running game and was told Mario’s midget brother was in charge of it which seemed stupid to me cause I thought the OC would be in charge of the offense.

But everyone that has watched this offense for the last couple of years knows where our runs are going and it’s the only place they ever go….right up the centers butt.

So I said OK if you’re going to run the same play over and over running into Lord knows how many guys in the box 8-9 ? Why not run playaction cause they have to be 1 on 1 on our receivers cause everyone else is in front of our center, why not try a playaction pass every now and then.

Now I’m no offensive guru like a few on here but I think I only saw 1 maybe 2 times we ran playaction and if I’m right it was successful. I may be wrong on that but that’s all I saw.

Again I’m no guru but to me Cam Ward made this offense look like a juggernaut last year not Dawson’s scheming and our 4 million dollar QB this year can’t hold Cam’s jock when it comes to talent so it takes something different to help him be successful.I haven’t seen anything different that Dawson and the Midget have done to change the offense even a little bit to fit Becks talent.

I hate to say it but I don’t think last night will be our last L cause if something isn’t changed especially on offense we will be in a dogfight with SMU and Pitt.

We had 5 Play Action Dropbacks to 30 non play action drop backs ...

This was a major problem in the ND game as well.

It's literally just dumb as ****. If you want to be a run heavy team, you MUST generate explosive runs AND hit play action a lot. We do neither. And its by design to do neither. It's the worst of all worlds. I swear to God the Run Scheme is the biggest problem of the entire offense

Anybody who continues to defend “tight splits” and running between the guards 99.6% of the time needs their head examined. The TE motion down blocks/psuedo pulling is bad and is a dead giveaway.

I hope the staff clues in and realizes our run game against any team that actually game plans against us….

1. It doesn’t achieve much of anything
2. No RB will want to come here to run between the guards for .5 to 3 yards a pop.

Friday reminded me of the night we got Jeremiah Smith to visit when we were playing Georgia Tech. Everyone remembers the bed-****ting at the end, but the whole game failed miserably as a showcase for our passing game. I thought about that with Cooper watching us against Louisville.

derrek cooper doesnt fit this run scheme we should move on lol
Nobody does.Fletcher may not finish this season,we saw the hits he took on his 2 or 3 runs on our first scoring drive. It's like running into a wall and hoping you can bounce forward.
