Didn't want to say anything at the time and get everyones panties in a bunch but I would have loved to lock in Jae Lamar right after his visit and be done with RB if that were a possibility.

If Cooper were ok coming in as a LB, yeah thats a 5 star player. At RB... not sure Jae wont end up the higher draft pick in 3 years.

But regardless, its always a loss when a 5 star player leaves your backyard.

Losing Cooper's recruitment doesn't bother me so much as also having lost the Jai Lamar. Wish we would have pushed harder there.

Miami needs to circle back and keep recruiting Jae. He is a flat out stud.

Not seeing the next Adrian Peterson or Barry Sanders here. It’s more trying to make a statement and keeping 5 stars home. At some point pride has to be put aside to make the better financial decision.
