Not sure it was "the exact same thing"…It was more of a doubtful tone. Or "I'm hearing Georgia at the moment" or "There's not as much confidence on the UM side"

You have to ask yourself who the other players from Chaminade were and what their actual chances of making it to the league were. It's not like Chaminade was some powerhouse in the 1990s or early 2000s.

We were the #1 rated passing efficiency offense in the 1st and 4th quarters, by a very wide margin.
In the mid quarters we were barely average at 50th +/-.

Guys that complain clearly haven’t lived in Miami and been around these kids. Same people say they weren’t alive when we were good get mad when they leave.

A bunch of hype for a RB. It’s more about optics than the player IMO.

I just don’t see elite RB 5 star on film.

This has nothing to do with Miami not getting him. This whole thing is more about Mario and Miami needing to make a statement and keeping a 5 star home.

Not seeing the next Adrian Peterson or Barry Sanders here. It’s more trying to make a statement and keeping 5 stars home. At some point pride has to be put aside to make the better financial decision.

Losing Cooper's recruitment doesn't bother me so much as also having lost the Jai Lamar. Wish we would have pushed harder there.

Didn't want to say anything at the time and get everyones panties in a bunch but I would have loved to lock in Jae Lamar right after his visit and be done with RB if that were a possibility.

If Cooper were ok coming in as a LB, yeah thats a 5 star player. At RB... not sure Jae wont end up the higher draft pick in 3 years.

But regardless, its always a loss when a 5 star player leaves your backyard.
