He has the same record as Manny after 3 years.
9 out of the last 15 years Oregon has been in the Natty or a BCS/NY6 bowl. They’ve been a machine for a long time. Not necessarily true. If anything, Mark Helfrich was handed the sports car from Chip Kelly and was basically Larry Coker by year 4 (4-8 in 2017) Mario took over and won 9 and 12 games respectively his first two years at Oregon.
Again, Mario is not an elite coach by any means, but let's also not make like Oregon was in great shape either when he took over.
The difference is Mario progressed every year. Manny took a step back in year 3. If we didn’t have Cam, I think last year is nasty though. This year is kind of make or break hen it comes to the direction of the program. He has the same record as Manny after 3 years.
It’s not nearly as big of a drop off as peolpe think. Record or talent wise.Manny took over from Richt. Mario took over from manny. Not the same thing at all.
Without Cam last year is 6-6. So we should be grading on a curve. Mario had the financial backing that landed him the difference maker. Manny didn’t.The difference is Mario progressed every year. what’s miamis record if Cam Ward gets injured after game 4 and Emory Williams plays the rest of the season?
If Cam never came to Miami I don’t know if they win more than 6 games last year. The defense was just so so bad. I think we could have leaned on the running game. Which would have also kept the defense off the field. But we couldn’t stop anybody, except Floridawhat’s miamis record if Cam Ward gets injured after game 4 and Emory Williams plays the rest of the season?
I am more concerned about our coaches apparently terribly misreading a recruit, again. This is a recurring theme and it is a problem that needs to be fixed asap. It's a far worse miss optically than it is a needle mover on the field IMO. Smith to Ohio State was a far bigger loss than not getting a *borderline* 5 star guy at a position that you can no longer say you necessarily need a bell cow at.
There was a P6, then P5, the P4. I don’t need to pad anything. The Big East was still considered a power conference until it collapsed in 2013. R u really going to pretend Syracuse, Louisville, West Virginia, Pitt weren’t power teams? Lol
I don’t need to pat stat to make a point

Success in the Big East doesn’t count?
ouch…
You have these dudes spun man.
Blue is a rookie this year, I think brooks has a good role with the panthers and the other two are more rotational backs.I follow the NFL casually. I don’t play fantasy. I know who Bijan Robinson is.
Are any of these other guys contributors?
I agree and it happened a lot this year…And can make an argument not a big enough net was cast at a few positions this cycle. We thought kids were coming and we whiffed on a bunch in a row.
I will say that it is easier to get blindsided in today's recruiting world. Someone literally can up the bag at any time they want.
I really think Mario thought that kids saw 10 wins, and a big time offense and with him having a big rep as a closer…It would be enough. Especially in Sofla with Cooper, Russell, Lopez…And that misjudgment can happen in the future. Seemed like they had bigger nets cast especially on the defensive front 7 in previous years.
