This has nothing to do with his character or fortitude. But this is the 2nd non contact injury he has suffered on the same knee. I worry about the structural stability and durability of his right knee not his personality. King limited in mobility is just not the same qb.
 
My post was not to you specifically and your point is valid. I just expect this young man to be very successful in life, whether on the football field, board room or in political office. I hope, however, that he gets good health for a few years and has a chance in the NFL after lading UM to a successful season

Working His Way Back

The days after hurting his knee in the final game of the season were really, really rough for D'Eriq King. But the quarterback didn't give himself much time to wallow and once he was able to, King started his rehab process with the same intensity he's always brought to the field.

I have a daughter in college and I ALMOST support your point, but I’ll go with “I’d wish for him to be her boyfriend” and then I’ll do what all fathers do and pretend like our daughters don’t have *** until they are married and only for the sake of procreation.

This video should be preserved and be a standard watching requirement for all players facing injuries in the future. Especially the ones needing nannies to soothe their little nicks and cuts.
 
I had a feeling if anybody was built to handle this horrible situation it would be him. Definition of a leader on and off the field. Hoping the progress continues and they are lucky enough to get him back for the whole season... Wish the canes had him for all 4 yrs
