What purpose do the moderators serve if they aren’t deleting idiotic back and forths?

Put these morons in a special forum somewhere where they can word vomit all over each other. Entire pages of this thread are people publicly arguing about **** no one else cares about.

These types of internet fights always dwindle out. They’ll get tired and do something else.
And all 3 of the posters in issue are able to handle themselves. This was nothing more than a rock fight between posters who have been throwing rocks for years. No one gets hurt.

But to your point, it is physically impossible to read through every thread and see if it has been hijacked by an argument. We aren’t paid to do this so the time we spend on CIS is time we volunteer. So we do our best. But more than monitor relatively civil back and forth arguments, we are more interested in posts that cross a line in terms of the verbiage or tone. Offensive posts.

I’ve nominated every single person who’s become a Maude. As we have grown, the way it’s handled is how I think it should be - Maude nominations are discussed amongst the maudes. If we are all good, I talk to the admins for approval and action.

So you know who I nominated to be a Maude who is currently a Maude, it’s everyone who has Maude under their name except @OBLIVION and @USNAVYCANE who pre-date me.

@Andrew @DMoney @IndayArtHauz no new maudes without the Maude ***** gauntlet vetting them… and we’re good right now.
