Deon preaching on the state of Florida football.

I like Deion. And I agree with his general thesis about kids today. But it’s not unique to Florida kids and it’s CERTAINLY not the reason why FSU and Miami either played horribly or lost - and have lost - to inferior teams (Florida actually had an opponent that was better coached and had more talent … they shouldn’t have been included).

FSU and Miami have a “coaching culture” problem. The coaches aren’t adjusting the thermostat - determining the heat/cold; they’re just telling you what the temperature is. That’s not coaching that’s managing.

If Miami and Alabama had swapped coaching staffs ONLY after February LOI signing (so Richt gets all Bama’s players, resources, etc and Saban gets Miami’s …), it is my belief that Miami would be undefeated with the exact same kids and would win the ACCCG and Alabama would not look like the team we’ve seen so far. This same Miami team would know their assignments and execute it.

Listen to Nick Saban talk about losing to Ole Miss and recount what you’ve heard from Richt over the past two weeks alone.

Deon and Saban, huh? We already know who you are. No need to keep on showing your true colors.
