Basically been feeling the same way. Schools like Clemson, UGA, and Bama aren't coming to FL or SFL to rack up on players. They go after the elite player at a certain position hard, while their plan b and c's are in state or elsewhere.

For as much talent the state of FL sends out every year only a few materialize into something special

We missed the boat on hiring butch 3 years ago. He’ll be in his 70s by the time we rid ourselves of this hack.
 
Is it that players are soft or is it that there's just bad coaching at the major programs in the state.

So only FL kids are social media hounds? And only FL parents coddle and pamper their kids?

UCF hasn't lost since 2016 - are they soft? FSU won the NC in 2013 and made the CFP in 2014 - would Deion call them soft?

You know what makes a team look soft? Bad coaches who can't recruit , develop, and deploy their players effectively to win games.

This. It ALL starts with coaching.
 
Too much coddling going on. But the coaches we’ve hired ain’t bringing out the dogs either. U got Willie Taggart wearing a whistle around his neck, having kids dancing at practice. U got Mark Richt going around quoting scriptures and is OK with whichever way the wind blows. U got Mullen doing goofy pictures with recruits.

Meanwhile u got Saban running a militaristic program and Dabo using the Bible to let everyone know if u don’t win on Saturdays, you will go to **** Sunday thru Friday.

I agree w Deion, but I also see **** poor coaching contributing to this, as well.

Bandy is what you want in a SFla kid, plays with a chip on his shoulder and was told he was too small to be a corner. The kids you want are the Nunn and Keontra Smith of this upcoming class and the Brownlee's. The ones that have that attitude, that I want to destroy you because I want to prove that I am the best, Nesta comes to mind. Sure social media changed the game, and the front running is bad, but the kids are there you just have to recruit them and then keep that dog in them, feed that underdog/killer mentality instead of pacifying them turning them into choir boys.

That FSU team was kinda soft, but they had a ton of talent.

Coaching has been a major issue, but to an extent, Florida kids coast on the reputation that previous generations built.

Exactly, we will be the last state to be soft, this is why people need to get off coach richt, he bringing everything back like its suppose to be. He recruiting the right way again, guys are just young, the head hunters are being brought back to the defense, they looking for them on offense, if anybody know coach richt, the last thing he wants is a soft *** team, think that if you want too, he luvs to see what he saw before the lsu game or the Fsu game, dont fool yourself. What yall calling stubborn coach richt wants to dominate, the recruits we got committed, and the ones on the fence, are guys that mostly arent soft, that's why you gotta have a guy like nunn in the class.

We know coach rumph not soft, we know coach dugans or coach brown not, big gus, coach richt made a statement about how he like when the big guys on the team are in charge. He's reshaping the mindset of this roster that was use to loosing. That's why the turmoil on the team now is great, its gone weed out the soft ones and cry babies and see who really wants to be great! This 2019 class gone be the take over class.

How does a state full of soft kids produce the most NFL and D1 players in the country?

How does a state full of soft kids travel to states like GA, TX, NV, CA, etc...and beat their powerhouses?
